Unsolved Disappearance of 5yo Summer Wells from rural home

Summer Wells disappeared June 15, 2021. Summer had been helping her mother and grandmother plant flowers in the garden and said she was going back in to the house to play with her toys. She was never seen again.

Summer at 5yo was three foot tall, weighed forty pounds and has three brothers who were at home at the time.

The three boys were taken in to care six weeks after the disappearance with Mr. Wells drinking heavily to cope and the townsfolk quick to point the finger at Summer's parents. Mr. Wells agreed it was for the best as he felt the family was under attack.

The family insists Summer was abducted however, investigators continue to state there is no evidence to support their claims.

“She is a good mother. She loves her children,” Don said about his wife. “She is not going to allow any situation like that. The biggest mistake she might have made is choosing some wrong friends.”

I find this comment very interesting from the father. It may be the truth and hold some of the answers to Summer’s disappearance. Sadly, a family completely destroyed.

There is more to this than what that article tells.

Both parents have criminal records,not sure what the mother's crime was but the father has previous DV and drunkedness relate crimes on his rap sheet.
The mother's sister also disappeared without a trace back in 2009, may not be related to this disappearance but what are the odds of two family members disappearing in a similar manner?
and how often are the rest of the children of any family put into state care because of a sibling disappearing?

Whenever an amber alert is instigated generally fellow townsfolk help the family but in this case they were run out of town by the backlash against them.

There is either something we aren't being told about or that something is yet to be discovered but I suspect this involves someone in the family circle rather than a stranger abduction.
