My word, that was nothing short of disgraceful. Not one midfielder even put their hand up, the forward line is less potent than a little league forward line, and our defence paid no respect to their opponents. :thumbsd:

Brett Burton needs to be dropped, he is giving this team nothing, he might as well put on a Collingwood jumper. That stuff up by Scott Stevens at the end of the quarter was despicable. Get Kurt Tippett in and drop Scott Welsh.

In fairness to Birdman he is carrying an injury. But he's been shocking.

spent a bit of time on the bench, but youngsters tend to drift in and out of the game, especially playing in a pocket, which can be a black hole sometimes.
Also, he spent much of the last quarter trying to negate Heath Shaw's influence I noticed.
 
what made it worse was that we worked our tails off playing catch-up and in the 3rd, caught up and went past - then it got snuffed out in about 5 minutes!!
 
I reckon we just ran out of legs from about 10 minutes into the third quarter. Was always on the cards. Tiredness then produces mistakes and makes your team look slow and the other team fast.

Being at the game I noticed he spent a ton of time on the bench in the second half, to the point that I was questioning the coaching staff's judgment. He was giving us a bit of spark, I think he could have given us something in that third term (which he spent almost all of on the pine).
 
NC looked like his head was going to explode at 3/4 time.
 
fightingdreamer88 has been very optimistic through these tough times, and imo who knows if he will be rewarded come the second half of the season.
