Looking Fwd to watching the battle.
38yrs of Senior of football experience will battle it out down one end tomorrow - neither will give an inch but I think the grandpa arms will win the day. Last time this battle took place was in 97/98??
Also cant wait to watch the battle of the HUGE Shorts! big head v small head - smarts v's braun... always go with the smarts!

What ya think Sid with tha battle? I think the big shorts big head outdid the little head big shorts (while he was on the ground) & Grandpa arms Fraser got the the nod over the Potato cake monster! Thats being said the Fwds struggled to get enough service in the 2nd half. Life is easy as backman when your midfield starts to dominate.
Sid & Tees -sorry couldnt stay for a beer had to get to a family function. Cracking day - perfect for a day of footy on the hill & will be great for the finals.
One little bit of advice for finals We had encouraged all players to go in for a drink & support your club but we lost 1-2 car loads of players back down the hill as the Showers were cold. I think Old man Faulls got them going but a few youngins had gone. It was like old times in Olinda vistors rooms less the mud!

hoping to fix them soon problem is young blokes today spend a lot of their time on grooming apart from that 12 degrees and sunny who needs a hot shower.......

Hey Caggs, completely belted on the weekend, lets be honest, I know you're being as diplomatic as possible and thats appreciated.

As for the showers, a young lad, and I mean a very young lad "allegedly" was playing with the gas meter on Sat arvo and accidently turned it off. Not a great situation, but has raised attention to the cage that the meter sits in, not being adequate enough and needing council attention. You know this little person extremly well lol

Both Old, Fat & Slow & were retired by many on this Forum before the season started...
Very Interesting game at the MCG on the weekend. Cracking crowd, great day apart rom the result. After the first 15mins you would have thought Monbulk was gunna win by 95pts then by mid 3rd Qtr looked like the brookers would win by 95pts - footy is an interesting game.

At this time of year, momentum can be absolutely everything. It was something our boys didn't have going into last weekend v Gemmy and it was a hurdle we could n't get over. So with that in mind -

Monbulk v Upwey - a loss in the last round, coupled with a week off spells a little bit of danger to me. The Tigers have had a great finish to the year, and last weeks result for them couldn't have been better. There'll be a couple of Monny boys who'll have relished the week off, but I think Upwey will go through (3 goals), and Monbulk will be better for it the following week.

Woori v Gembrook - as with the other game, I feel like the Brookers have really found some form since that loss at home to YG in Rd 17 (??). They've probably been a little more inconsistant this year, but the competition really evened out so maybe I'm a bit harsh. I genuinely felt that Woori were the side to beat and I might be proven wrong, they're a bloody good side and have been for years. I just think the VB Cans have their tails up and will get home by 8-9 pts.

Oh, and Olinda to win C Grade and the 18s as well !
