any truth to the rumour that powerhouse coach has lost the locker room? Talk of a blow on up on the bench saturday and he's a chance of walking. any dog walkers catch this rift on the weekend?

Wouldn't have thought so given Herald Sun has done an article on them with quotes from him. 6-0 with some of the best players in the comp to return at some point along with Greg Tivendale.

Who would walk away from that.

hey dont shoot the messenger mate just relaying what my sauces have told me

The minnow off, gee whiz they (EP/chaddy) have been absolutely pantsed in every game. Sadly it looks like their only win will come against the other. So far back from even 8th, Swinburne beat EP by 100. NB 31 goals 32 against EP, that could've easily been 300 if they kicked straighter.

Where does the improvement come from? Rumor has it Masala are looking to get back to D3, That might be another competitive game. But whoever comes down each year will just obliterate them both

Perhaps the Old Xavs 3rds can lend a handful of players to both clubs

You cant force players to play anywhere they dont want to. They can moan about it till the cows come home, mates wanna play with mates, and they wanna win along the way.

honestly don't know what the vafa could actually do for these two.

Every club in division 3 has had their individual challenges in recent times.

To call out EP and Chaddy is not the complete picture. Yes they aren’t pushing towards to the top of the ladder. There are always going to top teams and bottom teams.

If you can find a ladder in any competition that has 5 teams with 4 wins and 3 losses and other 5 teams 3 wins and 4 losses it just doesn’t happen.

Chaddy has rejoined divisional footy last year and will continue to improve with an experienced coach and enthusiastic committee.

EP is young as a group more so than any time in their past. With the reserves winning yesterday it will help foster more confidence.

A few years ago Albert Park was SOS for players are being promoted but have recruited well this year with some Fitzroy lads.

Powerhouse was made up in part of travelling tourists from the hostels around St.Kilda who hadn’t played footy. Now they have top end talent and a knowledge coach.

Wattle Park got demoted from D2 last year on the back of 12 competitive matches which resulted in losses. They have rebounded well so far in 2025.

Box Hill North has improved with Donvale and Nunawading connections helping them.

The two uni sides change year on year. Sometimes they are showered with riches and other times not do.

North Brunswick was a mid table in division 4 not that long along in 2016. Since then they have been up and have back down.

Richmond Central struggled big time in the late 00’s but have done an excellent job rebuilding the club. With targeted recruiting and player retention.

I also look at other grades like Monash Blues were in B grade a few years back and might end up in Division 2 next year. Elsternwick did well to get Division 1 last year but might head south this year. As some players might be towards the end of their careers.

I believe that footy clubs work in cycles. All it sometimes needs one recruit to bring 4 mates and all of sudden things can change quickly upwards.

The girls head coach did walk earlier in the year at House, could be what you heard?

Anyone have the Richmond / Swinny score? can’t see it anywhere.

Some great points.

I am just concerned that the bottom 2 sides can't get within 100 points of the other 8. Thats a long year knowing you only have two competitive games. Masala back next year might make it better for them.

Luckily LRT only had to miss the Chadstone game for the Sydney 2005 premiership reunion, wouldn’t have liked to be without him against one of the top 4.
