why the asterisk on BHN and AP
Maybe they might want to swap with each other ?why the asterisk on BHN and AP
They can't do this surely Richmond and BHN shouldn't be going up.
Whichever of AP or BHN is in D4 will have a percentage of 500.
Waiting on VAFA to debrief after last nightAny news on the Divisional split?
Waiting on VAFA to debrief after last night
Only clubs in favour were NB ,Canterbury, masala, la Trobe, elsternwick, Chadstone and AP were half half.
Every other club strongly against
Div 1 and 2 clubs strongly against, based on fixture fairness, equality, recruitment and just general mess of a league keep changing the divisions when it was done 2 years agowhat a mess
in saying that- just kicking the can down the road really
That’s not factually accurate.Waiting on VAFA to debrief after last night

Would expect nothing less from the VAFA.what a mess

FWIW so 6 clubs abstained from voting? That’s not factually accurate.
The vote was closer to 13-9 (not in favour) and Canterbury were one of the 13.
They could however see the Roger in a shorter season with the drain on volunteers and players increasing. They are however concerned about the possible ramifications if a team in the lower division was to pull out.
Most likely 2027 this will happenThere was a little whisper on the Div 4 Southern Football League board that South Yarra (SFNL) and Swinburne (VAFA) may be merging. The combined team would play in Div 4 of the SFNL.
Anyone from the razorbacks on here to dispel or elaborate?

I’m pretty sure they are ‘technically’ meant to be using the same ground. The one behind the Swinburne sports building I think. Are their home bases anywhere near each other? Sounds odd
Nah Swinburne play at st James park down the other end of hawthornI’m pretty sure they are ‘technically’ meant to be using the same ground. The one behind the Swinburne sports building I think.
However I’m pretty sure SY haven’t played a game at that ground since it’s been renovated. Could be wrong but that’s my understanding.

St James is a lovely cricket ground, surprised anyone considers it a dump.South Yarra have been homeless for years.
Fritsch Holzer is great post the renovation but not the best size for senior footy, also has APS school footy hovering in the background, St James is a dump and the clubrooms should be condemned.
Location wise they aren't that far away
