So Dougy's stomach strain is apparently not too bad, and he might be right to play in the next Test.

Do we risk him?

I think no - the Ashes are right on the horizon, they are the most important thing (especially after losing the first Test), and I think Bollinger is going to be a vital part of our attack if we win them back.
 
I struggle to see us taking 20 wickets unless Hilf and MJ step up BIG time so i'd really expect him to be selected if he gets through a couple of net sessions well. I don't think Ponting and the selectors will risk writing off a series given theyve gone heavily against public opinion with the current squad already.

But even if we don't play him now, they'll play him in the ODers. We're pretty much screwed.

He should be rested from the one dayers. It's like dragging Clark away from Kent for the Pakistan series before the Ashes. The usual short-sightedness.
