I take no notice of stats, I only watch footy games. Numbers like 1.75 tackles and 0.7 goals are meaningless and stupid, and just reflects your lack of football knowledge.. Here's a tip - go watch some footy games, and WATCH how players actually play the game. :)
Your posts continue to amuse me parrot;)

And to think AFL clubs spend so much time and money breaking down stats each week when they mean nothing, thanks for the heads up. Maybe thats the Blues problem they don't care how little or how much you get it as long as you look good when you have it.

Walker only blossomed in his third year, Fev never got going until his 5th year player take time to develop or do you think that Murphy has reached his full potential, of course he hasn't he will get better with more games and so should Schulz, Tambling and any other kid that has struggled in their first 2-3 years.

The only stupid ones here are the ones who write off kids after 2-4 seasons in the AFL. Sound familiar Parrot?

The Tiges list management continues to amuse me - it's like a never ending train wreck. I thought it crescendo'd with the Tambling draft clanger, but Terry took it to new levels last year by recuiting Kent Kingsley. :)

Cam Cloke anyone????

Cam Cloke anyone????

He's actually doing very well. Surprised me - was not a fan of Cam Cloke. The lesson I've learnt, is that one should never underestimated the de-skilling effect of the Collingwood football club. Many players bloom after they leave that toxic environment - e.g. Mal Michael, and hopefully Cam Cloke. He's lost a ton of weight, and improved his fitness and skills out of sight. Playing in a much younger more talented side like Carlton, seems to agree with him i.e. gettng away from grumpy MM, and Buckley's infamous quarter-time payouts on his team-mates. :)

Why would you bother trying to reason with these Carlton people, geez I learnt my lesson.

You would think after being the most pathetic side on and off the field in Footballing history they would shutup and wait until it turned around for them before thinking their opinions mattered.

As for parrot - his posts are so funny, makes no sense and is of a typical 13 year old kid allowed to use the internet when mummy isn't around, which I suspect he is.

Does that mean that your opinion, and the opinions of your fellow Richmond supporters, hasn't mattered for 25 years? :p

Roughead hasnt been on the list since 02. Remember that...

Jay Shultz, what a crack up..

Roughead was on the list since 04 and was almost 1 year older when drafted so really this time next year he will be in Jay's shoes... let's hope he can come good.

Would you delist Roughead if he doesn't become a superstar THIS year?

That's the likely outcome. Schulz is a very ordinary footballer - this will be a make or break year for him. So far he has been a complete disaster. Can't see anything changing in 2007. :)
Well, aren't we lucky that what you say and what reality is, is almost always 100% opposite

Another good game by young Jay last night.

He is STILL just a 21yo KPP btw.

Those who voted "no" and think he's a dud, did you see any promise in him last night? He wasn't a star but imo showed some wonderful signs, especially for when Richo retires.

When he marked it and clashed with Richo and had to leave the ground in the last quarter I was shattered Richo took the kick... there was no way Sarge would have missed that shot!! We would have been 8 points down with 5 minutes left if Jay took the shot instead of Richo and he would have had 4 goals. Oh well, next week.

He presents himself well and will be a star in the future IMO. Remember two years ago against the lions up at the Gabba, 19 year old Jay Schulz booted 6 goals on Mal Michael who back then was one of the best defenders in the league but now he has no passion for the game and dosen't deserve to be playing AFL.

I think Jay Schulz could kick between 30-45 goals this year anything more then 25 and I think thats a great season. Considering his still only 21 unless injury holds him back I think he will be a key player in the future for Richmond and wouldn't be suprised if he leads the Tigers goal kicking after Richo leaves.
