lets not get started on that. You must also think David Hicks has never done anything wrong.
she is a liar I think, but 20 years is a harsh sentence for what she did. Would probably get about 2-5 years here with probation in about 18months.

DopeSo how are you related to her?
Guilty or not guilty she got he most disgraceful unjust case in law history.
Im certaily not going to jump up and down screaming guilty because of some nut bag with clear motives taking a chunky check from the least credile show on australian t.v claims "she did it". That slurry should be locked up for life for poor blokemanship.
Whether she did it or not she certainly doesnt deserve to be eaten alive by rats and cockroaches when pedophiles and rapists roam our streets.
Those calling her a Lying wh ore sl u t and the rest of it should be ashamed of themselves. As for people claiming the media "love" her, its quite the contrary the current view you hold of her is a direct result of this. Im not saying either way she is or she isnt lying but in her situation what sane individual wouldnt lie.
The very fact that the indonesian police refused to weigh her luggage to compare it with the check-in weight at her port of origin, refusal to have the bags checked for fingerprints and furthermore allow the packages to be handled by others, refusal of an offer by Australian Federal Police to test the drugs to establish their place of origin, also tapes and airport information recorded in Australia during check in were wiped before they could be viewed. How exactly is it unjust? What basis do you have to make this comment? If she is guilty, then how on earth can it be unjust?
the amount of criminals roaming our streets has absolutely nothing to do with this issue, as she commited a crime abroad, she has to deal with the laws of the land.
The media do love her. It's been pushing on 2 years since the whole issue started and they're still able to splash it all over our screens. They couldnt give a rats arse whether she actually did it or not.

Again im not saying she didnt do it, but she would have got a fairer trial elsewhere and this disregard for vital evidence wouldnt have happened, we can't forgot either the blatant disregard of the report by the federal police which confirmed how rife drug activity had been at our airports and that an employee of the sydney airport who was working on the day corby flew out, has since been reprimanded for trafficing offenses.
this was in regard to the public backlash declaring her a "lying scum bag" and all the rest of it,and then choose not to lash out at all the parole members in society who have committed far worse crimes by our standards...just an inconsitency for mine. I do agree that if she committed the crime abroad she does deserve the relative punishment but she does also deserve basic human rights.
Big difference mate between loving her and loving her story. If anything the media has been detrimental to her cause.
I'm not a big campaigner for schapelle or anything like that, all i'm simply arguing is that she didnt get the fair trial one is usually entitled to.Maybe we're spoilt here, even too spoilt and Indonesia have it right taking a hard line.....but for people who have grown in our society with reasonably common and loose morals, it's not very fair to turn on her like wolves because of a bit of recent media beat up.
I can,t believe it. She comes from a very reputal family.By the way, does anybody know how Mercedes slander case is going?
