I've been given the job by my club of working out player statistics for the last 40 years.

Ive been looking at MS Access, but i don't know how to link the tables together.

IE, ive entered in the stats for 98/99 and 99/2000 (these are cricket stats). Now before i go on any further i want to work out how i can link the tables together.

For instance, Anthony Stuart took 20 wickets in 98/99 and 47 in 99/2000.
I want to have a table which has their overall averages, so for Anthony Stuart it would say 67 wickets.

Can somebody help me with linking the tables together please?????????

Create a query based on both of the tables (choose one, then right click in the query to add the other add in), then go to 'build' with a right click from the criteria field of the stat you want, and choose each table/field, separate with a '+'. The create a report based on the query.

... or eMail myself or ptw :D
