Has anyone ever thrown something at the TV or smashed a radio or two after/during a game before?

I don't condone violence (unless it's being done to Anderson, Wanderlei or the Nogueira brothers), but I remember watching a few frustrating North games and being on the brink of physical abuse to the poor old TV...(fortunately nowadays it just ruins my entire day instead, TVs are safe)

Has anyone actually ever damaged their TV/radio before?
Just wanted to see how common it is.

Edit: Also tv abusers, what generally gets you most angriest toward the tv?
A) Players on your team making really really dumb decisions/clangers, causing turnovers
B) Bad umpiring decisions
C) Or Lazy defence/no pressure

I like to punch things and inflict damage on stuff when a piece of leather isn't put through two upright sticks by post adolescents to my satisfaction. I, like you, don't have sufficient brain capacity to differentiate between real life and entertainment. My therapist says one day I will. Is your diagnosis positive?

Not so much for the footy but have been known to slam the couch when we lose a wicket in the cricket (to which Mum usually responds with "Ricky Ponting isn't going to replace that, you know!").

eagles had a few closes losses/losses after giving up a lead in 2014. After one of them of them i punched a massive whole through the wall. end up telling my parents that i tripped and i hit the wall.

I don't personally but it's understandable why someone who is very invested in their team would... but it'd be time to reassess your priorities if you let footy anger effect your life at all...
To be honest if it's a drubbing or a runaway match I'd be more inclined to turn off the game and not read footy news for a week until the next match... if it's a close match (and especially if I'm at the game) I rue missed opportunities and the loss usually takes a couple minutes to sink in. Might sound stupid, but it's one of the reasons I'm really looking forward to this season, as it's a chance to follow the league and not worry about the possibility of my team getting shit on... because it's more a inevitability.

Oh hell yeah. Common knowledge. Im exactly like kylo ren (or peter moon) trashing a room not just after a loss, but during the course of a game. And not just when bad things happen, but also when good things happen, destroying things in celebration.

Thats why I can be dressed up but I cant be taken anywhere.

Passion is a funny thing and a perfectly normal form of emotion. As for me, if I'm alone and the umpires are being incompetent as usual, I never go beyond squeezing the remote, raising the voice and issuing imaginary threats to the tv or computer screen.

If you get physically angry when watching a show that exists for your entertainment, you should seek some form of help.
Oh ive sought help, but they all said no not him please, and im locked up in my moms basement to minimize the carnage.

I let off steam by furiously pacing and swearing at home but at a game the seat in front of me is liable to cop a kick or two- but only if it's empty and generally only when we lose a close game or if Chris Mayne misses one from 10m.
The year of Lindsay Thomas' yips had a similar effect on me.

Petrenko??

I'm certainly known to be in a grumpy mood for the weekend if the Crows lose - last year my housemates put a moratorium on me swearing during Crows games by making a swear jar that cost me a dollar every time I swore. It actually stopped me swearing and as a result I was a lot calmer. But I don't live at that house anymore so it might be back to old habits now.. haha!

When I was a kid I used to cry. I distinctly remember listening to the radio all the way back in '92 when Paul Salmon decided to kick 9 goals or something and Essendon smashed the Crows by 10 goals or something at Footy Park. It got to the point that Mum turned off the radio because I was getting stupid and upset. I begged her to put it back on to listen to the end and I promised I wouldn't get upset anymore. Mum turns back on the radio, and literally the first thing we heard was KG saying ".. and strike me pink, Salmon has kicked another goal, Essendon go further ahead" and I burst out crying again and that was it. Radio off.

When the Dees knocked off Essendon in 2012 my Essendon mate I was at the game with smashed a chair at the 'G...
