I don't really have a dog in the fight about Bevo. He's our most successful coach ever, we were pumping teams before everybody got injured. I think he struggles with adapting game plans on game day, but I'm not a footy expert so I don't know whether there's more under the hood there. Hawthorn definitely botched some kicks tonight, but at the same time, a team kicking a lot of points is also a result of a gameplan to push people into awkward positions/defenders rushing behinds. It was a great win. Some young players standing up was good to see. But we should still be realistic about our coach ffs.
Did he make the hawks kick 1.11 in the second half? When 3.9 would’ve won it? Come on.
Newcombe with 37 and probably two votes, three if they had won.
This is why we continue to be mid-table and not contending. Sugar rushes of these wins covering over the issues.
And the one not paid to Will Lewis. They'll be bemoaning Coffields spoil on Mitch lewis and how it should've been paid a mark (lol it wasn't).
The impey one in our forward 50 was worse.
Who’s Young?Fair play to Young and Selwood- absolutely rattled two of our most important players and set up your win nicely.
Good luck in the second half of the season!
Apologies- meant Will Lewis.
Impressive pest.
Our Lewis marked against Sicily too a minute earlier that wasn't paidThey'll be bemoaning Coffields spoil on Mitch lewis and how it should've been paid a mark (lol it wasn't).
