Probably also a case of being told he can't just jump at the ball all the time, and being conscious of team structures at the contest. Overthinking it a bit.

Sheed did his Collarbone last year, maybe he still doesn't have full confidence in it or he's just hesitant to over commit.
Good point

We should keep playing him as the sub, fantastic for his match fitness and development.
Hoping he does get a full run (hope scooter isnt ready)

Looking better each week, and only last couple of weeks has he REALLY looked like he should get a full game.

But he looks good in traffic and will probably be best 22 after a full preseason *crosses fingers & toes*

I thought he was ok over the whole game. Did some nice things when we were dominating in the second quarter, and then faded late in the game like everyone else. Showed a lack of confidence with snaps and shots on goal, maybe due to him missing shots in earlier games. We need to keep the faith and play him more often, especially as we aren't going to make finals.

I actually really liked his game, very clean and some very good movement in traffic. Shanked a couple of kicks but all kids do that. I cant believe how harsh some people are on him.

Agree, thought he was pretty good, looked smooth with the ball. It was only really that last kick that was awful. Needs to wrap up players in his tackles too.

I reckon he'll be good eventually but obviously is not quite up to it. He seems to feel the heat at the moment resulting in some pretty poor decisions when he has too much time.

at the moment is about 10% chance of living up to a number 11 pick. in reality he is a top ten pick. if we didn't trade down we would've picked him at six.

i don't remember too many softer kids hitting the AFL scene since Andrew Gaff. oooooo :(

Sadly looks like ploddus Mk 2.

Finds a lot of space but doesn't show any of the elite decision making or elite disposal Pendles and Heppell do, they hardly ever waste a ball.

At the moment he is Hayden Crozier lite.

Hes only played a handful of games, jeesh people are quick to judge. Do a stat comparison for Pendlebury at same age and games.
