You guys must have more recent press than me. Last i heard, admittedly months ago, was that players could delist themselves due to Essendon breaching their end of the contract. There was an article as recently as last month stating that Hurley could leave with EFC receiving no compensation. But i cant get around the hun pay wall.

I'm sure every club is offering big bucks to every star player in the comp. Even if they don't sign them they still inflate their price.

That would take months, he would likely miss footy waiting for the tribunal to commence. And then there's waiting on results. Just like everything else in the saga, it's lengthy.
