Depends on Taranto then maybe

taranto is an interesting one, heard some say GWS might take him at pick 2 if the dons select mcgrath... he's gone from mid first round to top 5 inside a couple of days. pretty good effort

He's been building last couple months.
You'd have to be bloody good to be picked ahead of him: high marking, goal kicking big midfielder, the Bartel comparison has been raised afew times

Reading Quigley's draft rankings - very detailed and seems to have a well developed view on players.
Josh Battle was savaged in his draft rankings which was v. surprising.
Does not rate him at all.

Would like two mids with 2/3 of the following attributes ideally- speed, strength, skill.

PREFERENCE 1.
23- Florent/Bolton (speed/skill).
36- Drew/Begley (strength).
60- Highest rated.

PREFERENCE 2.
23- SPP/Begley or Battle (strength).
36- Mutch/Fisher (speed, skill).
60- Highest rated.

Meets our needs?

Word I have is he goes earlier than expected. Like mid-20s.
Yeah? Wouldnt surprise his goal sense

Ive gone off bolton. Dont rate his skills. HIS OK DONT GET ME WRONG and Great speed BUT for that height needs awesome skills PLUS I think he may have go home factor.
Pick 23 SPP or CCox
Pick 36 Drew or Begley or Sproule
Pick 60. Macarthy (unless begley somehow there)

The Saints have spoken with him a couple of times and Freo have spoken to him and his Family a couple of times as well

He basically thinks that if he's going to make it it will need to be in the Tom Lynch (Adelaide version) role of roaming far and wide for his marks, due to his terrific tank, but lack of height and rather extreme lack of agility.

Isn't CCox an overage player though? Any chance he is a more seasoned, more trained kid schooling the younger ones?

I've heard Battle has a bigger turning circle than Kosi.
Can anyone confirm or deny please?

Bolton's kicking didn't impress me one bit either when I watched his highlights last night. He's obviously got a lot going for him, but both he and SPP have that line-breaking ability/speed and ability to get through heavy congestion (albeit in different ways), but if both have only average kicking skills, I'd probably much prefer the much bigger unit, SPP- who also brings leadership and probably less of a go-home factor/threat, plus greater fitness.

The one possible reason I might prefer Bolton is that he's almost a full 12 months younger than Sam, so he might have more upside/development in him and be almost like an "underager".

Would be pretty disappointed to get battle, don't think he is bad just honestly think especially in this draft if he was a decent forward he'd be going earlier in the draft due to the lack of forwards of 190+ wouldn't mind Bolton but ba thinks he might have a go home risk. Don't think I want cox it seems everything said of him is that he has shown glimpses 'but still has a lot of work to do' witch pretty much means he is a risk, bit worrying if he can't find the pill as a 19 year old against 17year olds, my ideal and realistic is SPP, witherden, Ridley. (Hoping for a slider but the way the players are ranked that's looking the likely) galluci could slide too who id be happy to take then, very exciting next few days but I definitely back the recruiters with whoever they choose, hope we get drew at 36 too
