Foll. Dean Cox - Joel Corey - Ryan Crowley

Int: Robbie Gray - Ashley McGrath - Rhys Palmer
Sub: Sam Gibson
Sub: Dennis Armfield
Why Allefgib should win:
Gee this is a ripping final. Alot of evenness all over the ground - what little favour goes one teams way, is made up the other in the next matchup for the most part.
Does Crowley go to Kennedy and Carrots to Selwood? Or do the two contested fiends go head to head? I think Carrots offers a bit more than Crowley on the spread and run. Kennedy also very hard to tag out of the game given his size and the way he plays. One of the few star mids Crowley won't outbody.
Bennell offers a touch more than all the other wings in the game IMO. Could be the difference IMO.
They main area I think my boys get the leg up is my key backs are likely to do a job on Waite/Brown.
My boys are going to have play through Walker a bit more, 1 to keep Enright accountable and 2, to not allow Gibson to just hit every long contest. Jones on Porplyzia is a fantastic match-up to go and watch IMO. Kennedy (up forward) is going to have to work hard this game - but that's what he does best.
Cox still likely to be ahead of McEvoy this year, but I do think I've got the slight edge on the mids on the ground. Also, Cox has no real backup but I can throw Pyke through the middle to spell Big Ben. I can also throw Pyke forward to make Gibson more accountable. That's one area of flexibility Freddy's team can match. None of his Key forwards/Backs have any real ruck experience. If needed I can even through Stanley onto the ball to give someone who can run with Cox or make him more accountable through the middle of the ground.
So where do I win?
Bennell to provide more drive and line breaking than anyone else in the game IMO.
Ability to spell McEvoy and push Cox hard all day with a number of different looks to keep my boys fresh for the last quarter will be a significant factor - who rucks for Freddy when Cox needs a rest? That's arguably his biggest weakness in that side. I've got Pyke/Stanley who both have proven ability to Ruck at AFL level.
My key backs are facing two guys who've struggled to spend a whole season on the ground for a few years now. Reckon they'll give them all sorts of grief, whereas I'd expect my key forwards to at least break even. (If Dawson was a threat the other way I would be quite worried - but he isn't). Porps/Walker also offer other lead-up options that Freddy lacks.
Very tough game - but I'm confident my boys would win.
