I can't see why we would pick up Ryan Clark when we have elevated Hughes to the main list and we have Sutcliffe,Clancee, Sheridan,Ibbo,Grey all pushing for a spot. Hughes by the way is turning into a beast .He looke to have grown heaps over the break.Looks to have spent the whole break in the gym.

With the loss of Luke and age of pav, surely we go at least 1 mature age kpp who is plug and play. I like Adams over brown, but either could play rnd 1 and that is exactly what is required.

Ah Chee at pick 22 which could be pick 26 I highly doubt it but I'd be stoked.

They might not match it as they will likely go (slightly) in to deficit next year to do so (assumes Hopper and Kennedy are both bid on < 10). Experts were saying they rate their next year's crop highly so might be willing to let him go to someone else. Reckon it is 50/50 if we bid.

That leaves 3-5 senior list spaces depending on how we want to structure up.
I think we might go with 39 senior players and 5 rookies, meaning we take 4 players in the national draft and 4 in the rookie draft, with 2 of those likely to be Deluca and Mora.

My rational for a 39 man list was to leave a spot open for an immediate rookie upgrade if Smith, Mora or a potential mature rookie draftee (Bootsma?) are pushing for selection.
