Does anyone know yet wether the draft will be telecast live?

Thats pathetic. Give footy back to 7. You would think with 3 stations with rights that at least even fox footy could have it live. This is unacceptable. How about someone organise a petition to the AFL or the 3 stations?

I think that it might be on fox footy because i've seen an add about it but the might only be a highlights package

Fox Footy will be showing whatever Channel Ten show, and Ten don't look like doing live coverage.

It looks like Fox Footy will be showing a 1 hour show on the Draft Camp at some stage next week but I don't think they'll be televising the draft itself.

Wasn't there a rumor going around the other week that the date has been changed to Nov 22nd so C10 can show it? If not, hopefully afl.com.au will do a webcast like last year.

They are Fox "FOOTY", what else are they gonna show in the offseason?

If Ten & Nine can't get the ratings on it, then its in their best interests

And whoever says give it back to channel 7, you f*cking nob... channel 7's coverage was always by far pathetic

i think you will find the rights for the national draft telecast is owned by ch.10 therefore fox can only show what 10 has shown.

your comment about ch7 is amusing at best.if your talking about the draft telecast then you have no clue.at least ch7 showed the whole draft not a packaged format as it is now.

if your talking about the whole football package once again you have no clue.whats so diiferent now to when ch7 had the rights? NOTHING!

1. Channel 7 used to sometimes show big friday night matches live or maybe at 7.30. 9 have never done that, always keeping every match at 8.30

2. friday nights 9 ramble on and on and the game doesnt even start until 8.50 at the earliest!

3. Bruce McAvaney, who else is better?

The point is Channel Seven showed it live and a whole package. I think you may have missed that.

You mean until the site crashes,which will be 1 minute into the draft.

The AFL website coverage was surprisingly good last year and the audio feed didn't drop out at all.

It was free last year, doesn't say on the site as far as i can tell. Coverage from 10am on Saturday
