Lot of love for Darcy Tucker on here...looks good but unlikely to get through to us, even if we get Geelong's pick 9.

Hard to gauge without knowing what picks we'll have but Milera looks exactly what we need, speed, foot skills and quick thinker, takes the game on. Bonner seems handy, good size and apparently great foot skills, although his U18 highlights on Youtube has him giving half his possessions away. Snelling and Partington if they slip to the 2nd round. Don't mind McKay either, love a mobile big guy and Jenkins is our only KPP over 195cm. Burton would represent some serious risk but we've done it before with success.

Almost fell off my chair reading we were linked to Dunkley. If we pick another slow inside mid, my head will explode with the sheer absurdity of it. If that happens, assume we pick a 3rd tall defender with the following pick.

Snelling will still be there in the 3rd or 4th

Seedsman was my guess to who he was alluding to

I don't think he necessarily means Pies players, more so other targets in general.

I think that talks have taken place between the club and Menzel, he "apparently" seems willing to come over, and so now the club has put this on the back burner. Get a coach and the PD scenario sorted, work out what currency we have to deal with at the trade table and what high value targets we can acquire and go from there.

jayden brind played his first senior west adelaide game in the prelim vs centrals at the tender age of 17. while he only had 12 touches, he had 4 shots at goal for 2.2. i was very impressed with his ability to seemingly just know where the ball is. didn't tend to fumble much, but he's still got a bit of growing to do, and is a bit, well, portly i guess. a good size and his 2nd goal was one where he was being tackled and stood up and kicked it with obvious strength in the hips. probably not a crows need but he plays a fair bit like, dare i say it, the porpus.

will not be surprised if a club picks up keough at all. has rarely been beaten all year, has good hands and is a good kick. a good size and can also play forward.

Ok...so we're drafting a no name 20 yr old from the Tassie State League. Interesting. It is a weak draft year I guess.

Rookie draft. At best.

Brind can play - but wouldn't touch. A few commitment issues.

all the players in the draft are no names, seems like a reasonable rookie pick, no need to hate on him before he even gets here.

I thought he was trying to be a bit cryptic ;)

Skippos What's Milera like on his left foot? Looks like a beautiful kick on his right, reminds me of a taller sam mitchell with his clean disposal, god technique and evasiveness.

Also, would Bonner ever have the ability to play as a pure midfielder on the wing somewhere? Is his tank good enough?

Haven't got any notes on his left foot. Which means he probably doesn't have one.

Bonner of late before his recentmost injury had made excellent progression in the midfield. It's a genuine possibility. Unsure about where his tank is at, but a poor tank is easily rectified at AFL level.

Rookie I reckon

I'm not sold on Brind at all. Talent wise he is ok, but other than goal kicking I find him a bit panicky with the ball.

Attitude wise he is a looong way from AFL standard.

Could be a late rookie pick, but really nothing more.
