News
Adelaide’s six draftees have found new homes in the Crows locker room.

Small forward Jarrhan Jacky has been allocated No 10, first worn by inaugural Crows captain Chris McDermott and then by dual premiership forward Matthew Robran and most recently Matthew Bode.

Patrick Dangerfield will use the No 19 locker, previously occupied by players including 1998 premiership player Mark Stevens, Danny Hughes, Brett Chalmers and Darren Pfeiffer.

Midfielder/forward Andy Otten has No 22, worn for a decade by Ian Perrie and first worn by Michael Murphy in 1991.

Tony Armstrong takes the No 38 locker, last used by John Hinge. And Myke Cook takes over Martin Mattner’s No 39, the number worn by Chad Rintoul in the 1997 grand final.

Aaron Kite will use No 28, previously worn by Bernie Vince who has switched to No 17, the same number he wears in the SANFL with Woodville-West Torrens. Two-time Crows premiership player Kane Johnson wore 28 throughout his 104-game career with Adelaide.

I'm quite certain Chad Rintoul wore number 42 in the 97 grand final ...

some numbers should just be retired......

Stevo was a star - but let's hope none of those injury worries rub off on young Rodney.......:(

I see they've made the correction to Tony Armstong's name. According to the article (before editing) Tony Anderson got 38 :D

Jacky spoke very well in the interview on AFC.com.au and he seems really happy to be at the club.

When I watched him play in the champs...I thought BAM, this kid is a gun. And now he is a Crows player. I love it.

I think he deserves free membership and a meeting with the gun club. :thumbsu:

Saw that as well Gets. He presented fantastically (especially comparing to Cooky interview which followed). No. 10 it is!

At least 19 had a good player wear it once but can anyone tell me a quality player that wore 38?!

When I think of 38 I think of

Thats the first time I have seen him with his eyes open. I suppose when he was playing he kept them closed.
