If only it was that easy, they are all pretty mature bodies 20,24 and 20 all play slightly different roles.

Farmer is going to be playing a negating role on the opposition dangerous smalls.

Nason will play a high half forward role looking to put pressure on the ball carriers from the opposition.

Relt will be doing the same as Nas just closer to goal I would expect.

If you forced me to gamble on who will play more games it would have to be Farmer who I would say.

I have all 3 and I don't think its being bias its just the situation with no real good backs at rookie price and forwards is pretty bland too.

I wou;d be amazed (but delighted) if Relton was to hold his spot beyond Round 5 without some form of a break.

If he, Nason, Farmer and Martin play then blokes like McMahon, White, King etc are not going to.

OK, not big names but they will be pretty good at reserves level so Roberts won;t be granted a leave pass for too long if he just pops up now and again

From the preseason games, what role does Connors appear to be playing.

Is he sweeping across half-back?


Reckon he could be a good unique and I'm looking to play him instead of Trengove, so its a bit of a risk.

If you are choosing between Connors and Trengove then I think it's a good gamble.

If you are choosing between him and a Howlett then it's harder.

He has clearly been set for a role, but if he doesn't fulfill it then he will be kicking the dew come R7

I think he'll go OK and can barely split them

Well, I ended up fitting Newman into my team. Costly performance from him tonight, with 16 SC points, making him the lowest scoring player on the ground! Surely he'll bounce back.

I cut S.Mitchell to fit Newman in, and I bet Mitchell will get a massive score this week against Melbourne....

I have him and Nason as reserves, and despite knowing I shouldnt sideways trade, am thinking Farmer to Silvagni if Farmers looking a long way off?

I think he will, used the ball well last week and is starting on the wing. I did the nason to webberly downgrade and not looking back
