Do they even do that these days at the 'G? Could a bloke stroll in without a ticket and catch a bit of the last session?

If yes, does anyone know about what time? I guess play will go on for a bit today, could potentially be worthwhile.

Thanks in advance cricket nuts

I thought it was only the last 30 minutes, Higgs.

They will try to keep the crowd locked in for as long as possible i think.
Similar to a melbourne game.
Tell them you have an emergency and they might let you out.

Well, apparently they have built a giant fence around the 'G.

Regarding this, would anyone who attended the cricket give us their thoughts/feedback on the fence on here if possible?
Will be interesting to see if they go with it for the footy season.

They interviewed one of the G's admin people on the ABC today, and I got the definite impression that the fence is there to stay. Will likely cause havoc at the big games of footy.

What exactly is the fence achieving that the regular passing through turnstiles/entry doesn't?

It ensures that people stay in the MCG precinct during breaks in play, rather than finding better food at a decent price nearby.
