Dunn's kicking for goal

Won't ever be a decent forward if he continues to botch gettable opportunities.

We can just about forgive Watts' misses (one of which was deep in the pocket, and the other not that much further inboard), but Dunn is by our standards a pretty experienced player and his chance was 35m out with little angle to speak of.

Quite baffling really as IIRC, when he hit the scene he was quite a decent set shot and he certainly didn't have the Holding-esque run-up and Neita like ball rotation?

Has been a problem all year now and he needs to fix it, 10.16 is pretty deplorable.

Seeing as he was drafted as a forward and been in the system for a while now, not good enough.

Ever since the game against the hawks (?) when he unleashed this ridiculous approach to kicking goals, it has amazed me the 10 times he has actually ben able to steer it straight. Defies the laws of physics sometimes, but most of the time predictably sails wide. Guess it was only a matter of time before it really cost us..

We don't get enough shots on goal to notch the ones we do get

If he does fix his kicking, he could become a very good player for us. I've actually been happy with him all year and thought he was harshly dropped after kicking 0.4.

He's been a pretty decent link between centre and goal (or behinds).

This. No excuses. Jack was shattered after the game and all the attention went on him for missing, but Dunn had a easier time of it - and yet again choked.

I'm over him. Too many chances are very little return.

I hope he is shown the door.

I like him as a tagger myself. There are others on the list that will go before him and we wont delist many players over the coming years given the compromised drafts.

As he enters his prime over the next 5 years he should be able to shut down a few decent runners with his endurance and height.

Not good enough for a playmaker or forward unfortunately.

How he kicked 8 goals for Casey this year is beyond me. Makes me think he would have needed 25 shots in a game.

He's a nice kick around the ground so clearly it is a routine and mental problem, and as the rest of our forwards are pretty good hopefully it is something that can be fixed.

I agree with Stretch. He has improved his leading, and contested ball winning, and marking. If he gets his kicking right, he could be a good 30-40 goal a year 3rd forward option. The only thing really working against him is we have at least 3 players going for the same position. Dunn, Bate, and Petterd are all really playing the same role, and at most we only have space for 2 of them in the team going forward.

If we saw his marks tally at the start of the season, we'd have thought that he'd been dominating or at least playing well up forward.

**** me.
