After beating the ledger against the Giants in R5. The Saints face a much grimmer reality now. With no wins between now and then, sitting in 15 with a win-loss of 3-6, a win is vital.

Essendon too had the ledger beat after a win against the Dees in R4. However no wins after that have them also with a win loss record of 3-6 and a win desperate.

Season 2020 rests on a knife edge. The winner gets a win and some chance, the loser faces curtains. A hard, tough clash under the roof to avoid a seventh 2020 loss.
