I'd love an ME2.

Dead Space 3 is probably one of my bigger wants, loved the first 2.

Apart from that it's just about seeing what's already been announced.

GTA V (no chance at E3, but hopefully around E3)
Last Guardian
Last of Us
God of War: Ascension
PS All Stars
FIFA 13
Hitman Absolution
Metro: Last Light

Just stuff that I want to see a bit more of before I go on a media ban for them, so as not to ruin too much. PS All Stars and FIFA 13 will be the only 2 I really keep on track with post E3, watching as much as possible.

We seem to have very similar taste in games, HBK. Have you played Journey on PSN?

The complete lack of Valve all round at E3, at least so far, is very surprising. I think many were hoping something, anything around Half Life was going to be shown. But even then they haven't really got much that we know of right now apart from DOTA. Really surprised they've not shown up.

not surprising at all, valve already announced before hand not to expect anything from them as they werent planning to show anything off/show up

Definitely need an Fzero soon, it would be so perfect in HD!

Also hopefully GC games are VC this gen, would be great with the pro controller.

and thirdly, that looks ridiculously good. It is meant to be a fake but I doubt someone has gone into that much effort for a fake, PLEASE NINTENDO!

Makes a lot of sense, I dont think anyone would be complaining if Nintendo showed one more first party game, especially Retro's "big" game and so they probably revolved their whole E3 conference around this big announcement and when it fell through they had to resort to Nintendo Land to finish off the conference. Would have pushed it from a good conference to a great conference if we had have seen it IMO.

Nooooo. Stuff you EA, making Criterion do another Need For Speed repair job.

RIP Burnout. :(

Did EA ever wonder why people preferred Burnout over NFS?
I am on your thinking.

BUT, after listening to GiantBomb (mainly Jeff Gerstmann) talk about Most Wanted, I have come away far more positive.

It seems in spite of EA forcing Criterion onto the NFS franchise they're still bringing Burnout to the game.

The basic premise coming from the demo's is that it's Hot Pursuit+Burnout. There's gates, billboards, open world racing as well as the cops and robbers Hot Pursuit style.

I still can't get past the Frostbite 2 look, which has completely drained the life out of what Criterion usually put into their games. But gameplay wise it may actually be decent. The 30fps pisses me off too as the 60fps Burnout was what made it so incredibly good feeling and gave that sense of twitch racing.

On another game note. ZombiU has had some gameplay. It looks pretty awful. There's one interesting hook that if you die, that character is dead and you respawn as another person in the world and can track your previous dead self down and collect those supplies. But I don't know how that affects the story, I couldn't imagine it'd work all that well.

Also weirdly Ubisoft have said that thanks to Smartglass and Vita the game could come to PS3 and 360. But what does it get called then? They sort of backed themselves into a corner with the whole ZombiU name. They can't call it Zombi360/ZombiPS3 can they? And you wouldn't expect Zombi/Zombie either. This is probably now the most interesting part of the game for me, what the name for the game on PS3/360 would be!

I actually think it looks pretty fun, thats probably just my bias to Nintendo talking though as I want it to do well.

And I doubt they would ever bring it over to PS3 and Xbox, unless it sells extremely well.

You'd be surprised. People do that sort of thing to show off in their portfolios for 3D animation and that kind of crap.

Honestly 'fun' was the furthest thing I was thinking out of all the footage.

Potential is there, but it just looks so flat and dry. The sounds, the gunplay, the scares, it's all just so drab.

Also was looking at the footage from last years game that this came from, Killer Freaks from Outer Space. Which I'm guessing was canned and changed to ZombiU because it looked god awful. There just doesn't look to be much of anything great here.

There was also the complete lack of cohesion on the tablet controller. It seems like even the dev doesn't know how they want to use it. For one type of situation you point the controller down and scan for items, for the aiming from a sniper you have to aim it up (but after you hit the Left bumper button). Just all seems so awkward and clunky. On top of the really bland gameplay that's being shown.

Also graphically very underwhelming, the zombies look really poor.

Yeah I'm still gutted there was no wii version, the gamecube F-Zero was amazing. The issue with HD is for F-Zero to be great it needs to keep a consistently high frame rate, could be challenging to keep that and still get all the vehicles up at once.

Never got a proper chance to play MM without having the expansion pack, so god i wish they would redo it, the OoT remake on 3ds was brilliant. Would settle for the Zelda tech demo to become reality too though, hopefully it won't end up like the ff7 teaser for ps3.

Righto i thought i might post some stuff that may have gone through to the keeper.
Sony Worldwide Studios US boss Scott Rhode has said the company isn’t worried over Wii U’s headstart over it in the next-gen stakes.
In a separate interview with GameTrailers, Rhode confirmed that next-gen titles were being made at Sony.

The Amazing Spiderman Trailer

Love the implementation of Spidey's 'web brush', which shows any potential place he can get to in the area, painted as ghostly outlines. Want to go from the ground to perching on that flag post six storeys up? You can do it in one smooth movement. The web slinging is nice too (with the camera sitting much closer, giving a real sense of speed and movement), but you can also use the web brush to get around, and the movement is super acrobatic. It remains to be seen whether the missions are any fun, but this is a really innovative idea with a stack of potential. And no, I don't think it will make things too automated. I think it will make you feel like goddamn Spider-Man.
Injustice: Gods among Us

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Superman punches dudes into orbit then bitch slaps them down to earth – this game looks like a BLAST. Smooth combat, gratifyingly interactive stages with multiple areas and a stack of combo potential.

Me likey
Medal of Honor Warfighter was probably one of my biggest surprises of the show so far. I rarely, if ever, stray from the single-player campaigns in modern multiplayer-centric war shooters, but there was something about this one that just clicked with me. One of the coolest features is the fire team system, which links two players together and encourages them to work as a pair. Successful fire teams are rewarded; for instance, players can respawn directly on their buddy's six under certain circumstances.
I think what really did it for me, however, was the simple fact the game feels like it's aware of the fact the world is a bigger place than the U.S. alone. The team has taken what was described to me as a FIFA approach to warfare by trying to spread the soldier representation across the globe. There were six different classes and nationalities at the session today; I chose the Australian SASR Point Man, but others on offer included a Canadian JTF-2 heavy gunner and a U.S. Navy SEAL sniper. I actually had fun playing this, against total strangers. I never have fun playing war shooters against total strangers.

I really want MoH to do well, Blops 2 just looks so bland and boring from the few clips ive seen

Yeah, i'm liking the looks of Warfighter too. I am hoping that they learnt was was good and what was bad about the last MOH and improve on it in every way. It wasn't a horrible game, but it wasn't great either
