Hi everyone, wasn't sure where to post this so if Mods want to move this please do so. I am currently a member but find it too hard to go to all the games, i only got to go to about 5 this year, so I'm thinking of giving my membership up. my question is how hard is it to get tickets to games throughout the year? obviously big games will be sell outs but what about the other games? Thanks.

In the wings members get to purchase tickets before the general public, so if you took out an ITW membership, you get early access.

Maybe this might be the way to go.

Plus, I have noticed lately that there are plenty of empty seats at the majority of our home games

You're not really allowed to do this but I have heard of some people keeping the membership in their name but on selling it to a friend/acquaintance on a yearly basis until they're ready to take up the membership themselves.

Thanks guys, I've tried offloading to a friend but nobody wants them as it's around $1200 for my two tickets, also I did the resale thing last year and it didn't sell once, and it's not like it's was crappy games, I heard so many people say the couldn't get tix to the wce vs roos game but mine didn't sell. There resale program is pathetic.

Will look into this, thanks a lot.

There is no visibility in the resale program, which kills it's usefulness. Plus, you can't drop the price yourself if you want to ensure the ticket sells. It is so much better in the US, with sites like stub hub: http://www.stubhub.com/cleveland-br...eland-firstenergy-stadium-10-12-2014-9037890/

I did this for a few years before I eventually just let it go, I couldn't get anyone willing to buy it (was just 1 ticket).
on a related matter, one thing I noticed when I was last a member a few years back and for the preceding 5 years or so, there are lots of areas with 1 seat vacant, consistently each match. the membership dept really should examine if these 1 seats are truly vacant and shuffle people along a row until they get a pair of seats and bingo, they can sell them...

Also when I asked how much I'd get back for selling off the wce v Roos game I was getting less than half back.
Yeah, in the US you get back more than 80% of the sale price from memory. Which means you can actually make a profit for in demand games.

Thinking of selling one of my tickets for next year. My two seats are separated so not appropriate to take one of my kids (3 under 11 y/o). I have requested to move them together but if I don't like the option I get I'll keep the ones I have. Block 130 row A is the one I'll sell/rent for the year. Seat is off the back of the centre square city end on the mainy wing. Pm if interested.

Yeah, I havnt lived in Perth for 8 years but sell the membership card to a friend, or a friend of a friend or whatever. Id often work out the game price (total membership / 11) and if I think I can get back for a game, take that off the total and tell him he gets 10 games and I`ll choose 1.... Everyones a winner! The card is still in my name and all info is obviously posted to me yearly.
Its too hard to get a seat back with a few thousand on the waiting list. (That will change with new stadium)
I first bought 2x memberships in 2001 (the dark Ken Judge years) out of the Sunday Times classifieds early one, still drunk summer morning....? The next year, me and my drunk mate got our own and never looked back!

If you can sell to someone you know, all the better but if not I reckon there would be plenty of punters who`d happily pay the price for the seats for a year...

See if you can convince a friend to take them for some $$$ when your not using them, to give someone else a chance to go to games.

I went to every game except for the GWS and Richmond games this year because a member we knew couldn't go to them this year. Was pretty epic, I'm not a member or even on a waiting list.
