I hate losing to the Colliwobbles. We went missing for 2 quarters and showed a distinct lack of hardness and willingness to have a go. Some positives and some negatives from this game. Iagree with all the other posters on here that we need to run with this young kids as they will gell into good team.
Hansen was good on debut but is not ready to play CHF as he doesn't have the aerobic capacity. He attacked the ball well, but I would play him out of the forward pocket atm. He should be left in the team now to develop.
Staker was a bit disappointing, but will be better next week - he had a couple of heavy knocks prior to last night's game.
Nicoski is going well - luv him as a player - had a couple of bad kick-ins which hurt us bad.
Sampi has done nothing for a few weeks now and though is of undoubted class, should go back to South Freo for a couple of weeks.
B. Jones really showed something in the last quarter in the forward half. He added some agression and attack on the ball; it might be well to play him on a half-forward flank.
McDougall was good tonight; he may have turned the corner and be the player we are all hoping for.
Chambers was weak as **** - on the spaces of Subi he can play, but on a smaller ground that requires guts and fortitude, he is unseen - pass on him.
Matera showed a wide yellow streak down his back in this game - worried about the big bodies around him and fumbled and dropped everything.
Seaby was OK without being really that much of a threat - he needs to run harder and present more like Gardiner used to do.
I hope we welcome back Waters and Selwood next week against the Crows.
I am optimistic for the future.

Yeah Clayton! Maybe my language was a bit heavy for Matera. I just hope that today he keeps his head over the ball and his eyes on the ball, and doesn't fumble or drop whatever comes his way. I hope he has a good day out and gets a few. We need him to fire for us against the Crows.
Good luck to him and the team today.
