Glendinning was way past his best when he came to the club. The man was recruited for mainly leadership roles as well as to bring interest to the club. He did his job well, but was not the same player who had an impact on the game as when he was at Norths. Retiring at the end of 88 was no surprise.

Brennan is the best full back the club has ever had so far. Even the great Dunstall said he was the best fullback he ever encountered, while Lockett said Brennan was so close to SOS, that he came a close second.

Lewis was good, but not that good. Kemp on the other hand could easily occupy two positions simultaneously.

Yes a very good effort. Personally though I would stick Wirrpunda on the bench for Turley. Despite 91, Turley IMO was never that great.

Turley was great in 1990 as well and came of age in the 1990 final series. 92 was a disaster and IMO, he was lucky to play in the GF that year.

Turley would have been a great player if the media and the women left him alone.
