Well I started a thread a while back now predicting the Eagles were a ‘good chance to win the 2018 flag’ and I am calling it now.

Honestly, if you stay fit, stick to your game, and ensure key personnel are ready come finals, it’s yours. You’re literally too good. Not only do you own games in Perth, you’re playing the MCG as well as ever. You have the ability to be a genuinely frightening proposition in finals.

You’re biggest threats I think are Geelong or GWS, giants probably more so due to talent. But I am going with it, Eagles premiers 2019.

All is well my friend, all is well. My campaigner club is struggling but that’s no deviation from the norm, so status quo is good.

I love the Eagles and always want them to win bar playing us, but bias aside, your list is primed.

I believe I thought Hawthorn and Richmond were a genuine chance at some point yeah, but for the most part I stuck to my guns re West Coast.

What the **** is your problem? I am advocating wholeheartedly for your club and giving you a massive rap based on your form and ability. I also picked Hawthorn to win it in 15 after being belted by you at home.

By all means focus on the ‘bit I got wrong’, but if you want me to add some flex to my post then I say Geelong and GWS are a good chance also, followed by Richmond, but all in all, West Coast would be my pick above all and sundry.

If you want to be ‘right’ and run with an ‘I told you so’ theme to garner likes at year end, then bump this thread to the MB if I am wrong for your own personal gratification.
