Eagles board??

We seem to be rounding up more Eagles supporters but the board has gotten really quiet, whats going on?

I think one reason is that a post berating Eagles supporters here for bagging players has been made.
Once that happens people tend to run shy of the possibility of being labeled and stop posting.
Fora like this are intended for debate and putting forward personal viewponts. Some of those are going to favour one player over another and criticisms are part and parcel of being part of the forum and being an Eagles supporter.
Often criticisms bring in fresh light and we can go to games and make our own minds up on the point, they can be eye opening.

It would be a truly boring forum if all members did was praise players and coaches! Sheep mentality

I for one haven't been posting on the eagles board lately because i haven't got anything to post about. Only match i've seen in the last 2 months is the eagles v pies game, and considering we've improved our performances since then i cannot comment on the eagles much.

We already dissected most other topics like trades, KJ getting the sack, individual players and whatever else there is.

Unless channel 7 shows an eagles match sometime soon, us Vic supporters are left in the dark and we have nothing to talk about.

What we need is someone to start a controversial topic on the board, maybe something to get the Nth fans fired up. Any volunteers?

Hey buddy at least you've seen that one. The last one I saw was the Eagles Carlton game (great viewing) and that was at a friend's house on Optus.

Like you I'm counting down the days until Nine gets the coverage. Channel Seven knows they're stuffed, that's why they've gone into publishing. Corporate nobility - biggest oxymoron I can think of.

Who gives a **** if "SEVEN HAS THE ASHES CRICKET" (impersonating biatch of add) if they dont want to show it, watching the start at 10pm doesn't count, thats crapola, ****house, f****ed etc. I'll barely watch seven after the footy has gone cause there will be nothing to watch lmao!

I don't know if anyone else has already mentioned this (cause I've been away), but the Ashes is being shown on Channel 31 from around 6.00pm each night during the tests. They show it right through to when channel 7 take over. It's pretty good.

WA - welcome back! I'm really glad C31 was able to get the coverage of the cricket for the first session. I saw bits of their cricket show they show during the lunch break which seemed to be good too.

Is Channel 31 pay TV. Damn I wish I could get pay TV in Albany, but I can't, and so have to put up with channel 7's pathetic coverage of the Ashes. NOT GOOD CHANNEL 7

Channel 31 is a new free to air TV station in the Perth metropolitan region. Personally I can't get it cause my TV is a piece of crap and wont tune to it so no cricket for me. Normally, there isn't much on it though and its not featured in the TV magazines.
