Given the unseemly attention you lavish on Glass and Gaspar, if you ever got hold of Polak* the rates of RSI and degloving injuries would go through the roof. Emergency departments would melt down every weekend.

*This, of course, will never happen. So it's back to a-hoping and a-wishing. Can Glass learn to make a decision? Will Gaspar ever stay on the paddock long enough to witness it? Fingers crossed, kids!

yeh, sure MM. Then their would be another similarity between our clubs

Hey, if your minions can dream of wooing Fremantle scion Daniel Kerr rather than trying to make an inside midfielder out of the likes of Cunningham [sic] - hell, we might as well put our wish list out there.

You are dead right.

NOT RELEVANT

You're missing out on a few more attributes of the undeniably potent package that is Fremantle, Carny, you issue-dodger.

Don't stop at the vibe, where's the irreverence, where's the edge, where's the freaking heritage, (cue to reach for your pistol) where's the CULTURE?

All Fremantle has done is cashed in on the heritage built up by two WAFL clubs......thats right WAFL clubs. Not the Dockers. You evolved in 1995 and based on performances since have absolutely no heritage to speak of.

This is you heritage:

1995 - 13th
1996 - 13th
1997 - 12th
1998 - 15th
1999 - 15th
2000 - 12th
2001 - 16th
2002 - 13th
2003 - 5th

Culture of losing perhaps.

Isnt there a Fremantle board where you can all tell each other how good you are?

Stick to observing, champ, your humourless and wrongheaded attempts at participation are Not Very Good.

We finished 7th in 2003, by the way. Where did you finish?

I believe we finished 8th MM. Suprised you didnt know that.

Observer posed a question and you answered it by your predictable abuse and at the same time eluding his question.

I've been reading a book titled " how to disagree without being disagreeable" by S.Elgin. Very interesting stuff on the mechanics of our verbal interactions between people.

Mission, I seriously recommend you have a gander at this book

Haven’t evolved past the mirror stage, MM? Don’t recognise the reflection in the mirror? I see you’re still wan.king off, still using all the muscles except for the one that matters. When you keep taking the p1ss sooner or later you’re going to start drowning in it. It must be hard to recognise a send up through the filth you are submersed in...

Ah, my favourite Goering quote. And there's been so many.

Far from a dodge, it's a perfectly valid question, I would have thought. If you're claiming that the Sharks made Kerr an inside midfielder, it must have been one hell of a colts game. Unless you're claiming Aquinas as well. And lets not start on genetics.

I don't need you to tell me what a sendup is, Sera. I don't even need Exeter to either, although that was kind. Was I supposed to cease all activity and applaud your incisive wit and deft hand at mockery? Sorry.

Au, if I was intending to be agreeable, I would have been. This observer joker wandered into an exchange between Carny and myself that bore no resemblance to what he or she perceived it to be. What was a relatively lighthearted, all too aware, bit of self-mockery was read by this cackhanded buffoon as an opportunity to tread heavily with the boot of the easily offended.

If you people need emoticons nailed to everything you read to understand it, then books are lost on you.

I'll answer observer's rather inane question, if it will help you go down the Hay St Mall that little bit quicker:

Isnt there a Fremantle board where you can all tell each other how good you are?

Yes. Gosh, that furthered the cause, didn't it?

Genetics, Carny! At last. Let's start talking people - they are, after all, what all this culture is for.

You are hard-pressed to get more Fremantle than Regan.

And the old man played for Old Easts and coaches Souths colts.

Fremantle helped make Roxanne and Roger. Roxie and Roger made Daniel. It's all rather simple really.

Don't give me this hoo-ha about playing one Colts game. The circumstances of the AFL draft are such that he couldn't play more than what he played. It's more important to know what it means to them.

Your Geelong-supporting captain, for example, reckons playing for East Fremantle in a derby was a tremendous honour.

(Of course, his genes are all wrong and it was an accident of history that he was touched with the greatness he was.)

Yes, genetics, my friend. This is the future. We will be coding these kiddies and allotting them by the DNA which will not lie.

Mish - come on son, calm down. Also - please could you be less cryptic in your posts. They are very well constructed and when interpreted, very funny, but they often take too much time to digest. Like the Hay st mall comment ??
English was never my strong point.

Observer was doing what you would, and many others would instinctivley do on dockerland. ie Get overly defensive and proceed to deride a poster who has said something or implied something negative about freo.

Keep your vitriol on dockerland - and expect a lesser standard of conversation on this site if not.

Ladder positions were after the H&A season. I neglected to include that insipid display you served up in your ONLY final

The circumstances of the AFL draft, and a dose of OP. Incidentally, is OP a genetic disorder? And can we blame South Fremantle for the male pattern baldness of the Matera family?

Incidentally, Ben might have supported Geelong as a lad, but we've already thrashed the Medhurst out of the kiddy-supporter line of argument. Although I do have a chuckle when I read Freo supporters taking credit for Benny, which doesn't really work unless Lathlain is also considered part of Fremantle ... which, no doubt, it is.

It's all nature/nurture, isn't it? The two aren't mutually exclusive. No doubt young Ben profited from his exposure to a decent football club when his parents wisely chose to move out of the stench that is the Perth recruitment zone and into the wonderland that is Shark territory. If Bryan cared, he would have kept the kid back, but in his heart he obviously knew where the good stuff was to be found. Or else he wouldn't have moved there.

So, to summarise, we will utilise genetic coding when it is of benefit but will always respect the ability to take your own destiny in your hands - and move to Bullcreek/Leeming.

You can keep the produce of the mighty East Perth development and recruiting zone. You know, what'shisname. The skinny one.

That's fair.

(Au, cheers for your words. Congratulations on the bub - how old?)

Mine's 17 months now - which means climbing. If you thought running around destroying everything at his head height was bad enough, wait till you find him trying to ascend the fridge.
