Great to have the win. Unfortunately, up here we didn't have the game on TV so I had to follow the game on the internet - live scores only as I couldn't get any streaming happening.
From the stats, it seems Embley, Judd and Kerr were our prolific ball winners again. But I am really pleased to see Butler get 16 disposals - it seems this kid is coming on pretty quickly. Hansen with 9 disposals and 4 goals in only his 2nd game is a good sign - maybe we have another answer to our KPP. McDougall took about 9 marks, so apparently he is starting to come through too.
Most pleasing perhaps, without seeing the game, was Trent Carrols effort - 13 disposals and 7 marks and he didn't give away one free kick. Congrats Trent.
Would some of you who saw the game be good enough to give some feedback on the above. You can't always trust stats so I'd love to hear your stories on the game.

Judd- Real quiet for the 1st quater, unstoppable for the rest

Kerr- Had 5 touches in about 6 mins before hurting his shoulder, came back on and played a great game

Hansen- Terrific. 3 goals in the final term with some big marks prior to that

Chambers- Was awesome the 2 quarters had about 8 touches at quarter time

Carroll- Great First half. Was very luck he didnt give away a free kick

McDougall- Perfect game from him. Led hard,, presented, took some nice grabs and i think him and Hansen are the perfect mix of Forward KPP's

Cousins- Didnt really get much of the pill

Fletcher - See above

Embley- Found space, ran hard all night until an injury late in the last term


Matera- Good Game. Wayward kicking though

it was a pretty good game to watch, the last quarter was a bit dissappointing.
the most memorable moments for me were:
-hansen's four goals
- chick running to chase the ball, runs a bit too hard and ends up on top of a bunch of kids in the stands
- staker taking a great mark in the last quarter, but umpires claiming he pushed someone in the back... very untrue, and caused the cows to get a goal
- kerr injuring his shoulder, only to come back on and play brilliantly
- brauny split his eye within the first few minutes from a collision with the ball, got stitched up at quarter time
- substantial improvements from wirra, carroll, matera (well we all know last week was a one-off), & doogs

sorry what did you say???

...they are in re-building mode and are going through the motions...but i don't reckon they're a top side.

their last qtr showed they have some promising youngsters.

As a Crows supporter I would just like to say congrats to the West Coast Eagles.

They played a much better brand of football than we did, especially in the 3rd quarter.

The overall score was extremely flattering for the Crows, as you guys completely dominated us throughout the game.

I also noticed that young Hansen played very well last night. Certainly someone you should keep an eye on.

Anyway, congrats on the win. You were far superior than us.

Pretty happy with the effort shown in the win. To be winning at quarter time without Cousins and Judd have any real impact on the game was certainly a positive.

Was super impressed with McDougall, he is really starting to come on, he grabbed I think 8 marks and kicked 2 goals. Cant ask for much more than that. Hansen too was very solid. Glass cleaned up Carey before the King went off injured. Kerr and Embers were terrific and Carroll was actually good???

Wirrpunda is getting better too, played a fair bit through the midfield I thought which should give him a boost of confidence. Cox dominated the ruck too which is happening more and more from week to week, he is really stepping up.
