Hi Guy's, I have spoken to freinds of mine who are associated with recruiting departments at 4 different clubs. They all mention the same names e.g Bett's, Deluca etc.The surprising one that they all mentioned was Ryan Bain from the Oakleigh Chargers.Does anyone have any info on this kid?

I'd be guessing the Dogs may go for Franklin or Roughhead because of the need of a key position player with the failure of Walsh.

Wood to adelaide makes sense, they've only got Clarke and Biglands but maybe they'll consider SA lad Gibson

Why are you writing off Walsh ?
He might have been slow out of the blocks but I'd give him a couple of more years before casting him away.

Interesting you rate Willets at 3. Travis Cloke gave him a pasting this weekend, yet many (obviously jealous) people on these boards are only rating Cloke the equivalent of a late 2nd/early 3rd round pick :confused:

I can tell you right now that we will not go for Grundy with our first pick. We have publicly stated that we will go after midfielders so I very much doubt that we will go for Grundy;)

Fair enough , leave those big guys to give us more choices. SA Mids, Maybe Meyer or Monfries but Id think he will be gone.Is Ackerman to young?. The kid I really like was Hurn , be real good next year.
 
I wouldn't mind if Grundy slipped to the Eagles although I think we will take Toovey. I think Freo will give up their 1st pick to Port for Carr so it would be interesting to see who they take.

Teams that don't need a developing ruckman that badly to use a top 20 pick on one-
Ess
Dogs
Cats
Freo
Port
West Coast
Melbourne
Brisbane
Sydney
Adelaide (maybe need a future prospect but will go after midfielders I reckon)

Teams that need a starting ruckman or a developing one
Saints
Roos
Coll - backup for Fraser. But may want to puts some pace in the midfiled as a higher priority
Hawks - Like Coll backup for Everitt but they maybe happy with Campbell and probably need to fix other holes.
Carlton - I'm not sure about. Maybe happy with French and Deluca and may want to fill other holes.

Therefore Richmond may have a shot at one of these at 20

I think we are eyeing of Monfries. Eckermann falls short of the age cut off fir the draft but has applied for the exemption and apparently he has been granted one so he should be in the draft.

I think we would be happy with either of the 2. I think we might also pick up a ruckman but I don't think we will pick one up in the top 10 unless there is a CLEAR standout worth that pick.
