From the TAC stats, I am not entirely sure why Carlton would take deluca at no.8. It appears from the stats that deluca only gets app. 6 possies and 3 marks per game. For a no.8 draft pick, I would like 5+ marks a game.
Further, when comparing deluca's stats to meesens, meesen comes out much better - meesen is consistently getting 15 possies and 5 marks. So I was just wondering why Deluca is rated higher than meesen?
In respect of Jordon Lewis, his stats are probably the best in the draft - he is consistently getting 30+ possies, but he is also taking 8+ marks, which very few tac kids do. The marks column is usually a very good indicator of talent. For example, Brad Fisher of carlton had a high average marks stat in u/18s and that has flowed onto the afl even tho picked at 70+! I will be very interested to see how he goes in the afl.
Does anyone know anything about chris knights from eastern - his stats to are very formidable?

No seriously - this kid had some potential and is worth a pick. I've seen him a bit at Xavier and Eastern. His slotted right back into the Eastern team after school commitments and has the attributes of the prototype player. Tall, mobile, skilled and great endurance - body will come.
