Easter Monday Open Training

Open Training at Linen House Centee on Easter Monday at 11.45am til about 12.30pm.


Short session followed by a signing opportunity.

There will be a BBQ & a raffle run by the Social Club as well as a coffee cart and ice cream van.

Membership and merchandise will be available on the day as well as an Easter egg hunt for the kids after the session.

Lenny was in our top 5 on ground as a 33year old coming off heart surgery and its only round one. Damn good start if you ask me.

Should go down there and yell at them for embarrassing everyone and shame them into beating Richmond next week.

Dempster trained and "is a chance" to play this week. No sign of Fisher at all.

I asked Demspter and he said hopefully he can play, Ray, Dal Santo and Schinder trained away from the main group and i did not see Gwilt at all.

Team was split into 2 main groups. Those that played and those that didn't.

Was a super light training run for the "have played" group. Mainly running a few laps & stretching. They also did a few handballs drills. They all looked very sore & ginger. Even Lenny looked knackered. They were off the track very quickly after signing autographs.

The "have not" group trained for another 15 or so minutes. With a few more drills, runs through cones etc.

As mentioned, Faz, Schneids and NDS were in their own little group & only walked around the middle of the ground.

No sign of Hickey, Fisher or Gwilt. Appears everyone else was out there. McEvoy had strapping on his thigh & White still has the wrist strapped.

Markworth running seemed to get better the more laps he did. Looked very ginger when he first started & has a massive vertical scar on his kneecap. He seemed to be in high spirits though.

All players as well as Scotty came over and signed autographs, posed for pics and chatted to fans.
