Awesome. I lived in Aberfoyle Park for a little bit whilst my current house was being built, just by the Tangari Regional Park. Also been in Clarendon and Happy Valley, so the area is great.I'm from Flagstaff Hill.
The Crows released stats a few years ago that showed the Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park area had the highest density of Crows members in the state (or probably even the world for that matter).

Which mod deleted my posts from this thread?
Dont overmoderate bay 114 ffs.
North>South.
Was down South SAturday night, and it is no better than the reputation Elizabeth/Salisbury/Davoren PArk has. Hackham and Noarlunga are equivalent.
Okay, I would never live there, but I did work down there for 5 years. The improvement since when I started there until now is massive. I would easily walk through any mentioned area down there, I find it safe and all. In 5 years, my car wasn't touched once, even when I worked the overnight shifts it was fine. Reputation takes it a long way. It is surrounded by nice areas, Christies on the Beach, McLaren Vale to the South, and the Government ****ed up the area. I would say it's more a lower socio-economic area than a crime riddled shit hole, it's just a lot of old houses in an old area. It holds nothing on the North.Hackham/Noarlunga is an effing tragedy.
It's minutes' drive from the beach, it's a stone's throw away from McLaren Vale and outlaying winery districts and it's got a main arterial road leading straight into the city. Massive shopping district both at Colonnades and only 20 minutes to Marion. Gateway to Victor Harbor/Goolwa.
Ordinarily it should be a nice little area, but as I said, the government destroyed the potential when it bought massive swathes of land and turned it all into Trust housing.
That said, it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Crime rates are well down compared to the 80's and 90's - unfortunately the rep sticks.
Having lived north for the past 3 years, I personally think the south shits all over up here. Well and truly.
Wasn't me, but quite frankly your post wasn't adding any value to this thread.
Value to the thread?
What value is this thread to start with? Do you have a chart by which i can measure the value of posts in future?
Especially in bay 114...
Clarendon.. the best pub in Adelaide (especially because my face hangs above the bar)Awesome. I lived in Aberfoyle Park for a little bit whilst my current house was being built, just by the Tangari Regional Park. Also been in Clarendon and Happy Valley, so the area is great.
Clarendon also has the worlds best bakery, I love the drive down there on a Wednesday lunch time. Awesome.Clarendon.. the best pub in Adelaide (especially because my face hangs above the bar)
Tangari was the shit, back in the day that was the greatest mountain biking track, we loved that place. were you closer to reynell road/pine road or education road/pimpala road?
I live in Chandlers Hill, the view from my bedroom kicks arse...ladies( get over it, Im taken![]()

Yeah the bakery kicks arse, wandered down there plenty of times on a sunday morning, hung over as **** to grab the greatest potato pie you could ever find.Clarendon also has the worlds best bakery, I love the drive down there on a Wednesday lunch time. Awesome.
I live just in the Woodcroft area of Tangari now, so probably closer to Pine Road, basically if you walked through Jennibrook Farm (Riding for the Blind), and then cross the creek, there is a row of houses backing onto it, I live on the Westerly row. Awesome place to live. Backyard cricket is sick, because less jumping of fences to grab the ball, I just walk through the gate. Loved biking through there as a kid, and going up to 80 Acres (between Education and The Vines). Now though I prefer riding my road bike down to McLaren though, my arse can't take the torture no longer.

80 acres is awesome, cant say I have ridden through there lately, to be honest I dont know how I used to ride through there all day long when I was younger. My mates have spilt plenty of blood there and left many a layer of skin amongst all the rocks there when we have come a cropper which was quite often.
Till you realise they gave you the rat tailed pieYou can say that again!! I like playing at Clarendon cos that means I get to go to the bakery for lunch! woohoo! It also helps if Kangy have a win cos you go in and they ask oh how did you go and I'm like oh we won by 1 goal it's priceless!
So many memories. Just at the beginning was our spud gun and explosives testing ground. Riding through there can be brutal, i likewise don't know how I did it, I only had a basic mountain bike, no hardtails or what not. Glad that I stick to the road now though, some of those bushes and rocks are quite frightening.80 acres is awesome, cant say I have ridden through there lately, to be honest I dont know how I used to ride through there all day long when I was younger. Brighton I assume.
This is a bit off topic but I've always wondered how people from such areas like yourself can associate themselves with the Port Adelaide FC. This is a serious question. I'm not trying to have a go, I've just always wondered what people from far away suburbs see in a team that represents the Port Adelaide area. I don't think it's unfair to say that Port Adelaide is an undesirable area for most. And unless someone has been brought up around there I've just never been able to understand it.
