It was me and him playing with Carlton, against 2 guys playing as Collingwood. So to Antony, I truly suck!! haha sorry dude,..I was gutted! Hope you can sleep tonight cos I wont! :D

That would of been intense! What happened to torping the ball from 45m out? thats what you were telling everyone else to do ha ha

To anyone who played the game today, what options do you have while the game is playing?


When you create a player do you get a limited amount of point to allocate to them or do you have unlimited?

Also can you earn attributes, if so how do you earn them?

A question to the other guys there today. Were both versions running on a PS3?
It seemed the graphics were better on the tv in the corner than the one in the middle. But when I was looking the one in the middle was a day game and the corner one was a night game so that may have made it look smoother. Just wondering if anyone else noticed anything at all?

Can anyone elaborate on the evasive moves in the game ie sidesteps spins and so on and what types of evasive moves there are.

And are they controlled by the right thumbstick.

In a close match situation, like the dev just described, is the game harder? Does the controller beat like a heart beat in fifa?

Both were PS3. Totally forgot to play a night game, arghh...

Don't know what you mean by 'options'. If you mean menu options then i don't know, I didnt look.

Know nothing about earning attributes either, wouldn't think so.

Theyre form changes in what way? If say collingwood was undefeated say 12-0 and they lost theyre form would go down from beind pissed? Or?

No worries, I dont mind questions as I'm lucky enough the game was shown near where i live (and im able to drive which helps;))


Evasive moves was something I wanted to see prior to turning up, but as soon as I started playing I totally forgot to ask as I was having so much fun.

But I plan to go to Knox tomorrow to have another play. And the first think I'm doing is to check the moves out, so I'll let you know ASAP :)

I did shrug a few tackles though. My best moment was palming the ball to Watson, shruged the imediate tackle, shruged another, quick handball out to Davey and burned off my oppenent to kick a goal. It was a "that was awesome!!" moment!:p

Not sure if you took any video footage but could somebody take some footage of the whole menu process, starting from the main, choosing the teams, then guernseys, then loading etc, toss and the start. Would be much appreciated.

Yep I'll take a clip of that tomorrow.

Luckily my phone camera is HD so it should look ok.

another question about marking, both contested and lead, firstly when a pack forms can and you go for a mark can you actually crash the pack knocking players over? in previous games everyone would just jump up and down with no contact very un-realistically.

and how does it work on the lead? is there a jump and mark for that aswell? cheers guys, game looks great
