Yah, but his output when he actually does recieve decent midfield supply is pretty good. Port's midfield is a joke, and has been ever since the Grand Final. With one of the best midfield brigades in the comp he could be a very handy player.

I'd definitely go it.

Brad Fisher for Maguire.
Essendon's Pick 42 for Maguire.

**** no. Fisher is a talentless hack who struggled to make an impact in the VFL. Can't kick over a jam tin. Would rather have Luke Ball in the forward line. And pick 42 is useless.

Hawthorn and North Melbourne are said to be interested as well, surely the competition for his services would bump up the compensation, thats if he is to be put on the trade table.

I'd also have a look at Mark Williams from the Hawks.

He is an okay player but has looked down this year. Mind, with the delivery from the mids I would look down too.

I don't think the Saints will be looking at Ebert at all. Think with Milne & Schneider we have enough small forwards where defensive efforts don't come naturally to them. Also got Mini there now and Jack to come into the equation next year. They might have another crack with Armo too.
