Surely they go back to 46 like everyone else. They have had Seniors back a few years now and targeting VFL and ex AFL players in Div 2 is rubbish. They were asking opposition clubs to pay $2k for Fev to appear so he is obviously on good money. I can understand a leg up but they can't take the pi$$

Seriously, though, what a pick up for any club. Can play multiple positions and is a genuinely great bloke. I know his loss would hit Roxy hard, but I'm sure they will only wish him well for the future and I would doubt it will be the last they see of him.

Good to see Burnside annoucing re-signing of some key players. You'd presume they would have been aware of a coaching change before signing so it's good to see the players are committing again.
They are a pretty tight group so it is unlikely many will leave. Even with all the issues this year only two left and one came back. The others retired or moved to the country.

Burnside Heights have announced Damien Gillman as coach, anyone know much about him?
Noticed Hadfield have also locked away some of their key players (Potter, Godden, Polizzi x2, Trembearth) after a big finish to the season.
Was a pretty even season, wonder how clubs attack their recruiting for 2026.

Gillman has been the assistant coach for 3 years under Harvey. I heard back in the day he played for Strathmore or Abers. According to players he has a very good footy brain and well liked.
