all of these phantom drafts cok teasing a King to us is making me want the Hawks to tank, other than finals experience for the kids there aint anything for us to fight for...

Do you think GC could get a first round compo for Lynch? Giving them picks 2 and 3? If so which two do they go for.
Depends on what they value most. If they need talls id go the King twins and if not I’d take Walsh and Smith. Rankine would be a risk imo of wanting to come home.

D_P_S Can I ask why Ben King has slipped down to 10 in your eyes. Looks like he could be a gun at both ends. Doesn't that add to his appeal?

Also, do you really think that Freo will overlook the other talent for a small forward? Is Hill really that good? If Freo didn't have a first rounder this year, how low do you think he would fall before another club picked him up?

I have him at 3 :p Nah the mock draft is just a guess as to what could happen it’s hard to say who will go later, plenty of clubs not really looking at talls early on and in Freos case they may want to take a hugely talented local over a non-local tall who could leave anyway.

Where do you think Hill goes if Freo didnt take him? Is another club going to take him in the first round?

With live trading, I see the Dockers downgrading their pick with a Victorian team for one of the Kings.

Yep I think he still goes first round at least, latest he goes I think is Collingwood.

But u guys are making the finals. Didn’t u get that memo? Kings will be gone by then.

Also not only are you downgrading apparently, but also getting lobb and kelly.

Who would you consider to be the most talented outside mids that will be available around pick 20 onwards with elite skills?

You guys having sunk your salary cap with an injury prone ruckman certainly won't have to spend too much time thinking about recruiting decent players I guess. Especially now that you are going to have mortgage the farm for Lycett.

Players elite skills rarely get taken past pick 20 unless they have some huge issues in other areas. Angus Hanrahan is a good kick but is more flanker than outside mid at this stage. Id this draft does lack something its quality outside mids outside the top 20 if a player outside the top 20 becomes a good outside mid at AFL level it will be a player that has only been able to play on the flanks.

Zac Butters?

Zac Butters?
Butters is on the smaller side so he may just end up a small forward, I don’t mind his skills but I don’t think they are trually elite. He could even go top 20 so he may not even qualify for this topic haha

ayton-delaney or daly andrews?
Ayton-Delaney is above average but just below elite for mine and he is a defender more than an outside mid. Andrews is far from an elite kick although athletically he is gifted he can be prone to fluffing a few kicks trying to do too much.

You're far too kind.

He is a better kick than Clarke but yeah in the same mould
Seems Bytel has been injured a lot this year. Was also injured before, during and after last years championships as well. A club may want to undertake a full medical before taking him.

Shame, that is the only blaringly obvious player type that the Eagles are lacking. Especially since disposal efficiency tends to be one of Simpson's pre-requisites as made evident by the current squad. I assume eagles will take best available come draft day again then.
