I loved how Bucks had him repeat that question, just to drive home Robbo's ridiculousness.A million things he could open with and he asks Bucks the intricacies of banging on the bin at the end of the game. Fair dinkum.![]()

I reckon there were at least 3 in that passage of play. All sides do it and to pick 1 out and say it cost the game is just petty. Particularly when there is no way to say what would or wouldn't have happened afterwards. The worst missed throw was Ryan’s to Cripps that set up Allen’s goal, they may have even thrown it twice in the space of 3 seconds in that play
You wanna flog me, why wait 3 weeks, I'm ready now.Probably going to regret posting this but I can't believe how much I enjoyed that win. It was everything I love about footy and sport. It's probably lockdown related but I even felt emotional and moved by Bucks banging the bin! Anyway, hopefully see you in three weeks and flog you.
On The Couch showed the behind the goals vision from that last passage of play and it showed us really well set up in the back 50 with a spare defender. So even if a free had been played it wouldn't have been a certainty that West Coast could generate a scoring shot.I reckon there were at least 3 in that passage of play. All sides do it and to pick 1 out and say it cost the game is just petty. Particularly when there is no way to say what would or wouldn't have happened afterwards.
Why wouldn’t he like Hawks more than Pies?Leigh said it.
Shows he Likes Hawks more then Collingwood
Did not take long for my first six words to appear quite prescientYou wanna flog me, why wait 3 weeks, I'm ready now.
Some posters were really angry and upset at Ryan holding the ball out to Maynard. For me, the final word on his action rests with Maynard, and he had his arm around Ryan after the game and was deep in conversation with him, evidently respecting the man and his skill. If Maynard can forgive him for the taunt, I am sure that I can.
it is but I remember they had some crazy close near on identical games with Sydney back in 2005/06/07, so maybe its more them than us2017 HA, 2018 GF, 2019 HA, 2020 EF all decided by less than a goal. Pretty crazy consistent rivalry eh?
WEST COAST v COLLINGWOOD
10 Nic Naitanui (WCE)
4 Brody Mihocek (COLL)
4 Taylor Adams (COLL)
3 Liam Ryan (WCE)
3 Mason Cox (COLL)
2 Jack Darling (WCE)
2 Adam Treloar (COLL)
1 Levi Greenwood (COLL)
1 Josh Daicos (COLL)
Seems like the coaches could only agree only 1 on player.
If I was having a guess I'd almost say each coach picked the opposition players more often than not.
Bucks - Naitanui 5
Simpson - Naitanui 5
Bucks - Adams 4
Simpson - Mihocek 4
Bucks - Ryan 3
Simpson - Cox 3
Bucks - Darling 2
Simpson - Treloar 2
Bucks - Greenwood 1
Simpson - Daicos 1
Might change the Darling & Treloar. Bucks hinted that he thought Moore did a good job. Treloar carried us in the first 3 quarters. 22 disposals.
AgreeI wasn’t.
They always have a go at each other and it was part of that IMO.
Mutual respect is great.
This needs to be shared far and wide.
Great post. We had no passengers. We won this game because even our poorer players on the night found a way to contribute. 3 players in particular i want to highlight:
1. Jayden Stephenson - That effort in the last quarter where he came back to spoil was fantastic. I think it was Ah Chee on the boundary who looked in and spotted a player 30 metres out directly in front. Stephenson came out of no where for the spoil and saved a certain goal. That's exactly what a wingmen needs to do...get deep into defence. Huge effort
2. Brodie Grundy - The ragdoll tackle on Darling was huge. It was at that moment when I knew we wouldn't be going away in this game. It was a big effort from a guy clearly labouring to bring down one of the strongest players on the ground. His big clunks in the last quarter were huge too.
3. Josh Thomas - His effort in the last quarter to win the ball on the flank against 2 players, stand up in a tackle and get his hands free and the find Mihocek was what led to one of the greatest finals goals you'll ever see. I'll show that goal to grandchildren, and it doesn't happen without Josh Thomas' effort. Also, Grundy took a huge clunk down the line before that. Two efforts from our quieter players on the night.
We will win a lot of games when you get those efforts. We've had too many passengers this year. Guys like Thomas and Stephenson have been unsighted in games, and haven't found any ways to contribute. However, they each found a way on the weekend. When the margin in only 1 point...those little efforts are the difference between winning and losing
Nice stuff.Great post. We had no passengers.
Cameron’s marks behint the ball were pivotal. Was more then a few in the second half. Was huge for us.Nice stuff.
And Cox took a strong defensive grab when we were coming out of our D50 in the last quarter. Cameron took one in D50 too.
So many clutch moments. Too many players to praise. Very proud of the team.
This needs to be shared far and wide.
Oh yeah, I forgot that one.
All teams do it though and mostly get away with it.
