So one goes pies way and you whinge (even though it was a bad decision, it was happening on both sides of the fence). What about the 20 that went adelaides way in the 1st half?, the medhurst non goal?

Great win by the boys today must say that i feel for Wakes he does all the work to help get the side there then MM shits on him for an underdone presti' who was very average today.

FK YEAH GO COLLINGW08D still firmly in it, bring it on saints.:thumbsu:

I'd be average too playing with one arm for 3 1/2 quarters. That bloke showed guts today. You should be proud.

Kids of today. Hey Zeus.

I know I am getting ahead of myself but although Hawthorn have the wood over us of late, their game plan of a roaming zone isn't as effective in finals football as it is in the home and away.

If we can get back Burns and Rocca by the time we play Hawthorn I would say we would be a chance.

But firstly we must play the Saints... or Geelong

Its been pretty much perfect timing for us.

Burns will return for the grunt Semis against the Saints next week and lead by example and Rocca will return to be the X-factor in the Prelim against the Hawks. He can single-handedly win or lose us that game.

It is in our hands.

He was being beaten before the injury I am proud of the team but as I said FEEL for WAKELIN who deserved his spot.
There wasnt a contest before the injury, it was their first inside fifty:rolleyes:

Presti won more than half his contests with one arm and his non dominant arm at that.

Average nothing his man kicked 1 he beat his man in most one outs and had one arm while doing it

mate he was average admittedly on one arm for 3qs but still wakes was done wrong by!

As did I.

Next week, he MUST get his chance.

I agree Wakes will get his chance. I also felt for him.
I don't agree Prest was getting beaten before the injury and he certainly was not getting beaten after it. (I often wonder if posters watch the games?)
Presti was the right choice and despite his injury vindicated his place in the side.
Wakes will get his chance next week off the back of Presti's shoulder but may well have got the nod anyway.

As MM said "horses for courses" and "timing is everything".

Go Pies
