I became a parry champion in my last DS1 run through but I'm absolutely struggling to get the timing right in this so I haven't tried it any further since.

Yeah I'm finding it harder to parry, it's like (early enemies) super slow motion in comparison to DS.

But I looooooooove circling around and backstabbing!!

If you're a fan of previous From games then it's worth every penny. Steam reviews aren't a good metric anyway, too easily skewed just out of spite.

The PC version is super broken. I'm surprised the Steam reviews aren't lower.

I was fighting a boss last night and every time he'd do an aerial attack my game would free for a couple of seconds. Not to mention the regular stutters every 10-15 seconds. Going from 60 FPS to 20 FPS instantly and regularly doesn't make for a very enjoyable experience.

For consoles being a last gen game is holding it back if this was a PS5 or Xbox Series X game it will look and run much better imo also the game engine is a bit dated.

Was dispointed to hear Horizon,GOW,Gran Turismo 7 as cross gen games hoping they are the last with future Sony first party games being PS5 exclusives.

That's fair enough then, I stand corrected. I knew there were some issues on PC but didn't realise it was that bad. That's why I opted for PS5 straight off but even on that it's having some performance issues. Nothing compared what it is on PC though by the sounds of it.

The game itself is really good but I’m finding it so bloody difficult.
I crafted one of those fire pots and I have no idea how to aim it. I crafted a few of them and hit nothing at all.

I have no idea how to do magic. I have all these items in my inventory that I have no idea what they do.

The game doesn’t tell you anything.

I'm the same.

The game is vague in telling you what items do what also dosen't help that the text font explaining things are small be nice if they added the option to increase the font size.

idk maybe i need glasses 😂

I recently got this massive sword and I can barely use it because it’s too heavy. Can’t run or jump when it’s equiped. Would be nice to know what I need to do to use it properly..

I think you need to invest points in strength, dexterity and endurance

Cheers mate I’ll give that a crack.
How many hours have you played?
I'm new to the franchise still learning my self.

About 14 hours in and beat the first main boss so pretty chuffed with my self 😂

edit - also don't forget to upgrade your weapon at a blacksmith you need a material called smithing stones they can be found all over the map when exploring. head to Limgrave Tunnels you will find a heap of smithing stones

When selecting the weapon to equip in your inventory it should say the required stats, if you don't meet them they'll be red. If you don't have enough strength you should be able to two hand it if it's the same as other From games. I haven't actually tested this yet I'm just assuming it's the same.

Thanks mate.
Yeah it gives you the option to 2 hand it but i can’t run with it or jump. I’ll upgrade strength.

Do you mean the tutorial boss? I didn’t even know there was a tutorial section until today. I went back to The start and beat him.
