I'm against a bloke who has 14 Essendon players and NOT Stanton or Hille

Yeah def should be an easy one for you... although the guy i played last week had 14 freo players and no sandi and i thought it would be a walk over.

turned out he had GAJ as capt and scored 1950... still got up but it was a lot closer than what i would have liked.

In saying that.... id prefer to take on a team of bombers than dockers at the moment.

The guy im playing has a pretty good team but is ranked lower than me.... has a weaker fwd line than me so thats where it will probably be won. Should be a good match though.

I've got no problems him coming up against a good side. My problem is these teams that are made after rd.2...

This is because they have doubled the size of the field this year so all those round 2 teams qualified, going to make it considerably harder this year.

I have an opponent with a very solid team but also very different to my own. There is the legitimate potential for me to win by 400, lose by 400 or be involved in an absolute nail biter. Think it was 6 players in common, of which at least 3 are probably both on our benches.

My opponent this week has Tuohy, Hooper and Pears, so he's gonna cop a donut unless he trades. That said he has Montagna, Swan, Murphy and Selwood in the midfield, and Harvey and Pavlich in the forwards, so it should be a competitive game. That said I think I should get up, and quite easily if we beat Richmond.

Last years winner klayza is sitting at around the 37,000 place mark.

Dont know if he is checking his team or not but would have copped a zero in the forwards last week. Perhaps trying to bank trades. Who really knows.

Copped a team clearly made after round 2. Averages 1500 but scored 1872 last week but only due to Boyd, Shuey, Banner and Howlett out in the mids.

It seems the depth of teams is much stronger this year. Even the team i'm playing who is ranked approx 95,000 still got 1830ish last week and had a few guys who under performed as well.

In a very similar position. Playing someone ranked around 90,000 in eliminator who got about 1840. They are ranked about 55000 overall and their team value has risen by about 900,000. They have Lockyer, Boyd and Gram who could all potentially return this week.

Other than Campbell - who is their 8th forward anyway - they don't have any really poor picks. Although i suppose Lecras and Lockyer have been very bad so far. Their 2 biggest uniques in Hocking and Stephen Hill have done very well so far so it looks like being a real test for me this week but that its good to have high quality opposition.
