No cash on offer for the league but significant bragging rights. $1000 is nice don't get me wrong, but I just don't think its worth throwing the league season away (when that has been the top priority for a while) to chase after, especially as there are better teams still in than mine.

And it's been true. Just shows how eliminator at the end of the day is defitely filled with luck. For the past few weeks, I've beaten teams ranked higher than me each time.

Yes, you have to front up to wily old 54 Dogs this week CFL so you'll need to be at your best. He scored 16 more than you last week so should be very tight.

I lost to pies in the round of 16 (playing Brown over Fyfe would have got me the win) so slightly dark about that, especially considering my 2407 this week was the best score of the final 8! Good luck to those teams remaining, I hope a big footyer takes it out!

Bad luck champ, it is always annoying when you can't get the emergencies/substitutions right, has happened to me a few times and the lost points really add up but I guess that is part of the luck aspect of DT.

I can't believe the prize for winning the eliminator is only $1,000. Biggest rip off ever! People who win the weekley prize get the same amount of prize money yet there's a lot more skill involved in winning the eliminator.

That's what I've always thought they could at least bump it up to around the $5,000-$10,000 mark as it is a massive effort to win the eliminator.

Sorry nethermage mate but it was never going to go down to the wire.

I only lost by 83 points which was a fair effort given I copped 3 unique resting based injuries (Hayes, Pavlich and ROK) and had to start 3 rookies (Shuey, Watts and Hitchcock) to his no injuries. It was fun whilst it lasted, but at the end of the day my luck simply ran out, hopefully Cat for Life can keep his run going because if I couldn't take it out a fellow NPer/BFer was always the next best thing.
