We seem to have no urgency about our play.

The disposal is amaeture.There is no polish - we continually turn the ball over and unable to hit targets consistently.

The body language is poor.

Our leaders are not breaking the game open. Players like Boyd, Murphy, Cooney and Cross get the ball and happy to just get it on the boot rather than break the lines. But we are rarely hitting a target, so the ball just comes back the other way.

It is frustrating and hard to watch.

Get games into our kids, and forget about top 4 finish or GF - I thought this talk was a bit optimistic. Focus on finishing in the finals to give some of the kids some experience in finals footy pressure.

Our skills were pretty good in the first quarter and then just fell away.

We ARE playing the kids at the moment anyway. We are just losing. It seems to me no one is really trying to run the ball at all and everyone seems to be happy just bombing it long. Our setup for the kick ins has been dismal all year. We need Hall back in a big way.

One positive - cooney was kicking the ball well.

We have become an absolutley horrible football team. A lot of flak gets delivered to fans for being too harsh, even to Richmond standards but in all honesty you can't blame them. Such a frustrating situation we as fans are in.

This is turning into a horror season.

Players like Gilbee and Cross seem past their best and it might be time to move them on.

I think it might be time to blood youth.

I cant see us ever winning a flag with the following players. Hill, Stack, Moles, Minson. They all consistently have head in hands moments and we wont win a flag as long as they continue to be best 22 options, unfortunately we don't have any other options to replace them with at the moment, but that shouldn't stop us from trying to.

We need to use this year as a springboard for next year imo, get as many games into Jones, Grant, Roughead, Wallis, Libba as possible, and try to blood as many kids as we can with games being given to our untried youngsters.

Hill is soft, coughs it up whenever there is any perceived pressure. Gilbee should be a senior leader setting the example, instead he is missing targets and not working hard enough. There were some disgraceful turnovers today, absolutely pathetic. A side with our talent should not lose to the swans. I dont care that there were 5 or 6 of ourt best out. The rest should stand up and show something. Not good enough, and our pathetic history continues.When...when..when are these guys going to stand up and be counted

Hey pal, I'm not a bandwagoner.

In 89, I was 8, yet went to the footy every week with my Dad, in 96, I scraped together my pocket money and bought a membership and went to every home game when we were seriously struggling. Did the same in 03 and 04.

Difference between then and now is that we weren't good enough in those years, but at least we had a red hot go.

Went to 08, 09 and 10 PF's and had tears in my eyes after every one.

I'll support the club until the day I die, but at the moment we've got players in that side for whom it's seems all too hard and they can't be stuffed rolling up their sleeves and having a crack.

The joint looks as though it needs a shake-up, and hopefully this year, it happens.

Bottom line - don't ever question my commitment to the club.

lol! I don't know if you realise mate, we haven't won a flag in 57 years and we don't have the luxury of waiting another 57 as the club won't exist!

Early 90's , nearly spewed up losing to Geelong in about 4 finals in a row !

in 97, its amazing you didnt hear me in sydney walking out of the pre lim final at the MCG against adelaide with the words that were coming out of my mouth

when we lost by a kick against the saints a few years ago in the prelim, threw the remote control at the TV and absolutely cracked the shits majorly !!!!( Didnt break the TV thank god ) hehe ! My wife wasnt happy i tell you !

We have all been frustrated a thhis team, believe you me !

Hopefully we will get that Ultimate Glory in the next 50 years ! hehe !

Interesting to listen to the radio coverage on ABC and the commentary team didnt mention the problem was with the players mentioned on here so far.

The accused the mid-field of being lazy and waiting for the ball to come to them rather than getting in. Especially critical of this group because they didnt go back help the defence .... waited out wide.

Also mentioned an old favourite (and pleased to hear people outside ourt club mentioning this too) that Boyd and Cross rack up plenty of possessions but dont do anything with it.

I just don't know what to think anymore I spent all day friday with a 54'er who doesn't have much time left with us and all he wanted to talk about was about how we are still a chance etc etc and that we just need to keep backing ourselves. I have almost got to the point where i can't have that faith in the clubs culture to produce players that will bring home another flag.

Give Liam jones a break, he had two guys against him everytime we bombed long to the poor kid. The guys I would be getting stuck into are, cross (not damaging enough) Hudson (the game has passed you, making a contest isnt just good enough anymore) Gia ( runs forward of the ball constantly, must wear lots of oil at training to get noticed) Rodney Eade ( chipping the ball around in todays football isn't good enough, our midfielder have top break lines because if they don't it does not create space for our forwards as it gives time for defenders to get back.

Its hard to gauge where the Bulldogs are at because you seem to perform in patches where they are running very well, but for way too long you guys just arent putting scoreboard pressure on....or just keeping it in your forward half.

Gia is just not right for your team at the moment, and is in a similar mould to that off Hill where he gets frightened off the ball by perceived pressure from the opposition.

Its not all doom and gloom, I thought Griffen and Boyd were fantastic but your bottom 9 including Grant in particular were woeful (hope I can so that), so if you can just get in some new players with hunger to fill that vioid of the bottom 9 it will go a long way.

In my opinion bring Lake back, ethier give him a few weeks off completely to get him right or play him in the seniors because Williamstown is not the right fight for ethier him or the team.
