In addition to all the above criticism, did the team not take boots with stops to Canberra? I lost count of how many of our guys slipped or fell over at crucial points. This is a pet hate of mine - SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. Sydney kept their feet much better and reaped the reward.

That's what happens when you play the majority of your games in sterile conditions in an indoor stadium, you forget what real football conditions are like.

I dont see anything wrong with what KU9's said...Maybe ease up a bit on the criticism. He just came in to offer an opinion on our board. He can do that if he wants. He didn't say anything unreasonable or trolling, so why the hate?

No hate.....just not going to sit back and cop it from the opposition on here....if you are happy with what he and others at times dish up then leave it to others to sort it out, let others take care of the hard stuff.....I won't sit by and let it happen....I can't stand the way we get into our own on here and leave these guys to post whatever they like...

What exactly are you coping mate? I havent said anything negative about the Bulldogs. We have opposition supporters come onto our forum all the time and if they aren't trolling or being completely unreasonable its all good.

I like and respect the Bulldogs. Maybe you just hate Richmond?

What worries me is who would take over if Eade were to leave.
There doesn't appear to be an obvious replacement.
Let's not delude ourselves that Malthouse would come back.
Leon Cameron and Brian Royal would be risky choices.
I think the tide will turn for us and when it does, the heat will come off Eade. He has taken us to three prelims in a row and had it not been for players not kicking accurately at crucial times, or injuries last year, we may have had a premiership or three.

If Eade were to go, this would be a foolish decision by the club, but if it were to happen, Choco Royal is a master tactician who would bring a radically different approach, and would get my nod ahead of Malthouse...

There must be reasons Choco has been continually overlooked for senior roles.

I agree - it's too easy to sack Eade - but if they did, a Malthouse type is what's required.

Bit harsh on Hill today, doesn't sound like he's been too bad from what's been said on the radio.
Yeh not sure people watched today if they think hill was one of our worst. 6 marks from oppisition kicks inside defensive 50 dropped across infront of forwards.... yes makes the odd mistake..... but gee cut the guy from slack.

Top 4 is certainly gone, if we don't win this week we can probably kiss finals goodbye. And that's a

It's a long way back from here. We look a shadow of the side we have been in recent years.
I totally agree. Infact I would prefer we didnt make the finals, might give the club a well needed dose of a reality sandwich.

I thought the players tried as hard as they could but the older players are passed it and the younger players lack experience so it can look like there maybe not trying but I think people over estimate the abilities of players.
Name the older players that have passed it.

You know what is embarrassing, Bulldogs supporters calling for Malthouse to come back to the Club. I don't know how old you are, but in 1989, I thought it was the end of the club, seriously it almost was but thank god Peter Gordon had the guts and enthusiasm to fight the VFL. As for Malthouse, he made a run for it, didn't even go to the Best and Fairest awards.

The ONLY reason he has been successful at Collingwood, is because he has the biggest budget in the AFL for his footy department. All Malthouse is good for is to manage his large assistant coaching panel. They do all the work, all he does is show up. Take that away and he would be lost.

I for one will not forget 1989 and the day we nearly died, and that grumpy old fart doing a runner.

Not to mention some Collingwood supporters were calling for his sacking until last year

I have been to only 2 games this year, both wins.

Maybe im the answer.
Same here, but I hope I'm not the answer as I probably won't get to another game until Port in r22
