Will we ever see a jam packed Collingwood crowd behind the goals at the Ponsford end? Time and again in blockbuster games there are vast numbers of empty seats. Even last week after the build up of the century there were plenty of gaps. Don't the members actually want to watch the team they support?

The club needs to do something for members. I purchased a week ago and tried to get into the Ponsford Stand. No such luck. I tried again on Tuesday.

Where did I get tickets?......Yes, in the stupid Great Southern Stand surrounded by Hawks.

The Ponsford Stand idea has failed, let's face it, Eddie is flogging a dead horse there.

There are more Collingwood reserved seats in the Southern and Olympic Stands now than the worst stand to watch football from in the ground (especially the bottom deck).

I know of several Pies fans who had reserved seats on the bottom deck of the Ponsford and instead moved to have bottom level seats in the Southern stand, simply because it's a better view.

A lot of the the members with seats there are legends members who really only buy that membership for the guaranteed grand final ticket. I'm a legends member and sit bottom level of the ponsford and went to both this weeks and last weeks game, and todays turn out was much more disappointing.

It's also strange because it's all reserved seating but very few of the people around me today were the same as the people around me last week. I feel like a lot of those seats are reserved 3 game membership seats and they sell them out the front each week..

When you pay for the membership it specifically says that you'll be sitting with your own in a Collingwood reserved seat section. I agree with you, for big games they should on sell the tickets, but it is supposed to be Collingwood only.

This is a big off topic, but had a nightmare sitting in AFL Members today. Had two smart ass punks behind me whistling and howling in my ears all day. I'm still shaken up because if I got up and belted them, I would probably be charged with assault and lose my membership. If it was somewhere else I would have knocked the living daylights out of them. In all the years that I have gone to the footy, I have now come to the conclusion that Hawthorn supporters are the biggest w*****s. I used to hate Carlton, but these flogs make Carlton supporters look like pansies. Absolutely hate them more than I can imagine !!!

Have thought this for quite a while now, they're smug w***ers. They seem to think that because their team has won and have been successful recently they have the right to act like ****wits towards members of the opposition supporter groups. I especially dislike the ones who don't actually celebrate a goal, but actually specially aim their 'support' towards the opposition supporters.

Obviously not all of them are like this, but they do have quite a few who give the good ones a bad name.

Agree Matty for home games the Reserved Seats are mostly in the Great Southern Stand

I have reserve seats on level 2 in the Ponsford and they are great to watch footy from.

I have a legends membership and it costs $800 and something a year plus finals tickets. It is expensive but I never have to worry about tickets, my seat will be waiting for me on Anzac day.
