Defenders way ahead on goals at huddersfield.

Look much better with kongolo back in. Keeping fingers crossed. A loss here would be catastrophic

Fulham looked very poor and are now bottom. Worrying times for them.

They need to fix their defence. They've got some quality players in attack and midfield but in this division they'll be on the back foot most of the time.

If this was the championship their defence wouldn't be anywhere near as exposed.

Agree. They are scoring enough but also leaking like a sieve.

BTW, I haven't posted much lately as I got married last week and have been in Hawaii for the week on the honeymoon, but an encouraging performance on Saturday, albeit 2 soft goals to concede.

I'm hoping the rumors about signing Kessie in January are true, he'd offer the power and pace we're lacking in central midfield currently.

Snodgrass has done well to reinvent himself as a central midfielder though, and Diangana looks like a quality prospect on the right wing atm.

Good week to get married. :D Congrats!

Their dartboard approach to transfers also reminds me of QPR's (which is never a good thing) so I'm not that surprised that they've struggled, but nonetheless they shouldn't be in the relegation spots.

A good passing midfielder is essential too. The amount of good runs Mitrovic and Schurle made where the pass was either overhit, played too late or not played at all in the second half was apalling.

Not that he'd fix their woes but Mawson seems like a waste of 20m sitting on the bench, especially given he's still better than anything else they have back there. A half-decent keeper wouldn't go astray for them either.

For all of the (rightful) scorn heaped upon Morata this season, he's currently scoring 1 goal every 2 Premier League games, which is much more than Torres could ever manage.

He also gets into scoring positions more than Torres ever did.
** At Chelsea.

Serri and Cairney are pretty good..

We've played 3 of the top six so far and IMO we are coming along nicely. We still haven't fully adapted to Sarris style of play and once that happens we'll be a pretty good side. I think we'll be neck and neck with Pool as the best of the rest, it all rests on our striker situation and if Morata can get his head right.

The next 2 league games should show us where we really are.
You’ve played all three against the top six at home and only won one of those games and arsenal should have scored a hatful in that match. You also couldn’t beat United. You haven’t played any team away from home in the top half of the table with only West Ham being a semi tough test - also a game you didn’t win. Compared to Liverpool’s fixtures so far it really isn’t a comparison

I don’t know but I’d imagine you’d have taken 5 points from the away games at the three London clubs before the start of the season. There is nothing you can do about City’s results and we all know why that is.
