Pickford was excellent last week. Made 2 great saves. Unfortunately he just does not have the right mentality to be a top keeper. He’s a poor decision maker. I’m baffled you don’t see that.

I felt Rodrigo looked absolutely exhausted (did play the full 90 on Thursday) and couldn’t keep up with his man.

Bamford D’Or suddenly becoming the greatest finisher in the world is certainly a shock, but while it continues I think Rodrigo is best served as a substitute for him. Not yet fit enough to play in Bielsa’s midfield and probably will take more than 10 days to learn the system.

Would love to get this Rodrigo De Paul in, and Forshaw coming back should give us another solidifying option in midfield for situations just like today. Midfield let us down after 4-1, piled all the pressure on the defence by not working and failing to keep the ball.

I think it's pretty important for the referee to get the first one in in the first 10 minutes of the game. Really set the tone for the match, make sure United have their confidence up etc. Im gonna say the 7th minute. Could be earlier if Palace start particularly brightly.

You're being incredibly unreasonable that's why. Making a couple of off passes that did nothing is no reason to lose confidence. He's a fantastic distributor of the ball and hasn't done anything to suggest otherwise. Neither has he done anything to suggest he's a poor decision maker this year.
