Watch us win 6 meaningless games and lose a top 5 pick.
I would be so pissed if this happened.
If we beat the Swans next weekend this club will officially be worse **** teasers than a stripper at Kittens.

It's ok folks.

The hippy posters on this board are saying we will be ok.

So relax, turn up, ignore what is happening, watch Ricky Petterd win a Brownlow, watch rejects get games regardless and don't fret.

The flower sniffers have assured us its all ok.

Can't wait for our flag next year.....

With the new fixture structure the afl put in place, it is our best interests that we finish in the 13-18 spots on the ladder to get the best possible draw for 2015, were having a shocker this year, but we are not this bad, this team can play when they want too, we beat up on bad sides, watch us destroy brissy, St Kilda and gws on the run home, get a good run with injuries, have everyone ready to go by round 1 and we wont be stuffing up another easy draw next year, bank on it. West Coast are a prime example of finishing 13th, they have a lot of winnable games on the way home and can still make finals on the back of that, the difference between 12th and 13th is massive for a good team having a shocking year, it could be the difference between playing two games against the side that finishes 7th or two games against the side that finishes 14th.

We must finish 13-18 on the ladder and I'm pretty confident that will happen as carlton try their guts out to finish 12th.

With Dimma in charge I'm sure we'll achieve your goal very easily and we won't even have to tank unless the AFL decides playing Hampson is considered Tanking and fines both us and Carlton and strips is of first round picks for the next 2 years.
Good point about the draw but we didn't really take advantage of the easy one we got this year .

What makes you think CFC are trying their guts out? Dn't think they have hardly tried all year!!

How anyone can attempt to justify our season based on effort, bad luck or close shaves is beyond me. I have been all games bar Brisbane and Freo and we have played 15 quarters of good footy out of a possible 48.
Incomprehensible. Season is an F minus surely.

1. Give a rest, your sounding like a broken record with your love affair of Dimma.
2. Good sides normally don't stuff up two good draws in a row and we are a good side, we are just having a shocker where everything we try is turning to shit, at he moment we have put out the 12th most experienced side for the year, been more experienced than out direct opponent 5 times, have only put out 2000+ games experience on the field 3 times ( 16 times in 2013 ), have been cursed by the injury gods where our important players ( not our fringe players ) have been hit with lengthy time out and either r at the same time or overlapping each other.

Without those injuries by the way and sometimes good can come from injuries,

If Rance doesn't get injured, Astbury would not have played, shame he got injured.
If King doesn't get injured, Miles does not get elevated.
If Maric is not injured, Griffiths doesn't play 10 games so far.
If Deledio doesn't get injured, McDonough doesn't play 7 games so far.

Their trying, they have to justify spending massive $$$ on MM and Thomas and plus their best players are all on their last legs, last chance to achieve anything so they are going to throw everything they have got into most games.

F aint bad though.

Think about it, Port A, Swans A,

Hawthorn maybe a B, few C's, plenty of D and E's and then you have some R's like CFc and the Dogs losing to Brisbane and then you have St Kilda and Brisbane who are not even on the page!!!

From the start of the year with the orchestrated tough draw and the season start get go CFC have put 2014 aside for the future. CFC are clearly focussing on the draft and have been for months now!

Dogs beat us and just beat Collingwood. When have Richmond ever pulled off an unexpected victory against a respectable team? Dogs ahead of us.

Your making my point , Astbury wouldn't if played yet he kept Jack Gunston goal less in our win against the Hawks last year only to be dropped for Grimes who came back from the worst Hamstring tear and was clearly not fit enough in the final rounds and the final.
If King doesn't get injured Miles doesn't get elevated yet we had the opportunity to elevate him instead of Thomas and or put Maric on the LTI for the first 8 weeks and play him from round 1 , he was only our most in form player in the NAB cup and we've just robbed him of 10 games of footy and ourselves of a chance to win some games.
Why do you make such silly excuses for an inept footy department? Can you please explain to me why they have continued to play Hampson ?
The point I have been making for a long time is that we are a good side and we have stuffed a good draw but if you think it can't happen twice then you are kidding yourself . If we put a coaching team in that know what they are doing then we'll recover very quickly and play finals next year like we should of done this year .
Another 3 wins and we would of still been up to our necks in it but this season has been dreadful from a coaching group that have built the list themselves and have been given everything they have asked for and wanted by the club and it's members , at what point do you stop making excuses for the silly mistakes , ask Grimes how he felt yesterday watching Shaun Hampson running around on the ground yesterday after he'd been subbed and asked the players in the stands not getting a game what they thought about Hampson getting a game over Ben Griffith , Orren Stephenson or Todd Elton.
I'm willing to bet from now on that the players will be briefed not to laugh at him like the cheer squad did yesterday. This season is a joke and next year will be mediocre if the club doesn't use the resources it now has to improve the situation fast and start planning for next year.

When have Richmond ever pulled off an unexpected victory against a respectable team? .
2010- Rounds 10-14 and 15
2011- Rounds 7 and 21
2012- Rounds 7-9 and 10
2013- Rounds 7-10-17 and 19

Just a few I found, some against good teams, some against the odds with our backs too the wall.

We are like the dumb kid the teacher's have given up on with no future.
Got caught smoking around the back of the sheds (ladder) with the other troublemakers - Carlton.

Super shit season all our doing, most clubs improved, , while we give should be De listed 2013 king newman another year to rot our list, finally play miles 8 weeks to late, , and wow wee, he carrys his vfl form into afl, but mcbean apart, , all other vfl players are shit, our best vfl players ohanlon , arnott, helbig getting 20 possessions in their best vfl games, thats just not any where near enough, we need a massive youth injection this Draft plus a star recruit to keep our members interested .
